This is the local family friendly mountain, they have kids lessons at great prices. Overall great experience/value for the price. The village is super cute and everything is closeby/intuitive. Never long lines except fridays they do ski school, dont get caught in the rental lineup behind 100 kids. They also do snowcat dinners at their mountaintop restaurant, its a super fun experience. And they LET YOU TAKE WINE IN TO-GO CUPS who does that??

180 a day for weekends, no snowmachines, brown patches and pebbles on most the runs... slow lifts. They're still paying lifties next to nothing. I don't know what I'm paying so much for. Quit hoarding the money and make the mountain better.

Recently visited Silverstar Mountain Resort for the first time with a bunch of friends, I was definitely impressed with the accommodations we got the place is beautiful and spacious and well kept.

The slopes where very beginner friendly which was fantastic because it was my first time in about 20 years since I've been, the rentals where fantastic and affordable and easy to get online prior to arriving at the resort.

Fantastic weekend, good food and fun and quality time with the friend family, would definitely recommend.

Lucked out visiting during the first big snowfall of the season. Fresh buttery snow, quiet/empty runs, no queues. The park was super fun. Shoutout to Billy at the Den - a lovely friendly face.

Silverstar is a good mountain if you know where to find good terrain. The backside of the mountain is where the fun is. Great for beginners as most runs are pretty easy.

The people running the lifts are a some and are really well organized and run it fast and good.
The food from the restaurants and its high quality and fair prices also the maintenance is great for getting your board waxed and the edges sharpened.
Also they have lots of runs but they get ridden out really fast but you can always find powder somewhere

Silverstar has a lovely village with different activities to offer aside from skiing, we went tubing and skating, and enjoyed our private hot tub on the snowy patio. It’s big enough to go skiing for two days in a row and still be divers.

Silverstar is a hidden gem. Quiet enough to keep good snow but lively enough to have some fun atmosphere and events. All natural snow is a huge plus.

A great ski hill. View of the rocky mountains on a clear day is a site to be hold. Good mix of easy and difficult runs. Good amount of ski wear and restaurants to eat at to refuel before heading back out.

Skied here with my family for 7 days where I was met with fantastic ski school instructors pushing me out of my comfort zones and taking me on runs I never thought would be possible. Conditions were out of this world and accomodation couldn’t have been more comfortable. Runs were quieter than larger nearby resorts and the tree runs were nothing like I’d ever seen. My family’s favourite run was Deer Park which we must have done over 50 times over the 7 day!!

Amazing hill as a learner with many areas to practice. Quieter areas to learn techniques and harder runs to expand my skills. Extremely friendly staff willing to help out at any time. Had a blast boarding this hill and getting comfortable back on the board.

Restaurants are delicious with amazing staff smiles all around.

Highly recommend checking out silver star!
