I worked at Silverstar for a season in 2023. This mountain is so underrated and should be talked about more. The village looks like it’s out of a fairy tale and the snow is just unreal. You barely ever/ever have to wait in a lift line. You can go all around the mountain in one circle so it’s very well set out. After a big day on the mountain head to the red antler to get a superb pint. It will round off the perfect day.

Great fun for kids and easy to progress through the grades of runs. Fab time on the backside for adults to explore when not with kids.

Great snow, friendly people and amazing value for money. We stayed in a ski-in/out chalet on the mountain for 3 of us but slept 8 people! It included a hottub, a full kitchen, washer/dryer... what more could you ask for? There isn't too much of an après vibe in Canada for most of the slopes unless you're a liftie, so wouldn't set those expectations. But you can definitely have your own après at your lodge!

I switched to skiing this year and it was so much fun at Silverstar. I rented and the staff were great, equipment was pretty great, kept in good condition as well. Good place for beginners and experts. The runs are really well laid out so if your group has a mixed bag of expertise you can still stick together/wind up together.

This is the local family friendly mountain, they have kids lessons at great prices. Overall great experience/value for the price. The village is super cute and everything is closeby/intuitive. Never long lines except fridays they do ski school, dont get caught in the rental lineup behind 100 kids. They also do snowcat dinners at their mountaintop restaurant, its a super fun experience. And they LET YOU TAKE WINE IN TO-GO CUPS who does that??

180 a day for weekends, no snowmachines, brown patches and pebbles on most the runs... slow lifts. They're still paying lifties next to nothing. I don't know what I'm paying so much for. Quit hoarding the money and make the mountain better.

Recently visited Silverstar Mountain Resort for the first time with a bunch of friends, I was definitely impressed with the accommodations we got the place is beautiful and spacious and well kept.

The slopes where very beginner friendly which was fantastic because it was my first time in about 20 years since I've been, the rentals where fantastic and affordable and easy to get online prior to arriving at the resort.

Fantastic weekend, good food and fun and quality time with the friend family, would definitely recommend.

Lucked out visiting during the first big snowfall of the season. Fresh buttery snow, quiet/empty runs, no queues. The park was super fun. Shoutout to Billy at the Den - a lovely friendly face.

Silverstar is a good mountain if you know where to find good terrain. The backside of the mountain is where the fun is. Great for beginners as most runs are pretty easy.

The people running the lifts are a some and are really well organized and run it fast and good.
The food from the restaurants and its high quality and fair prices also the maintenance is great for getting your board waxed and the edges sharpened.
Also they have lots of runs but they get ridden out really fast but you can always find powder somewhere

Silverstar has a lovely village with different activities to offer aside from skiing, we went tubing and skating, and enjoyed our private hot tub on the snowy patio. It’s big enough to go skiing for two days in a row and still be divers.

Silverstar is a hidden gem. Quiet enough to keep good snow but lively enough to have some fun atmosphere and events. All natural snow is a huge plus.
