Awesome place to ski very fast ski lifts and good blue runs. I have never been on a six seater chairlift it seemed like a gimmick at first but it really works well. The Color scheme of the village is not the best but thats really the only bad thing I could say about silver star. I had a great time skiing there. And will go back again.

Amazing resort. It has a lot to offer from beginner level all the way up to expert, which is why there are so many tournaments there. All the runs are amazing. Personally my favourite resort that I have skied.

Silver star is a quiet family friendly resort. Lots of additional activities beyond skiing to do. The hill is close to Vernon, but not a lot of apres ski dining options If staying longer term

Great place to ski. I learned as an adult and the variety of features and different terrain gave me so many opportunities to test my new skills. I was able to progress really quickly. The ride up isnt bad and theres always parking which makes me what to go more often.

Silverstar is a family friendly resort with a lot of options in terms of terrain and alternate activities for kids. The varied runs provide options for all levels and the lineups are quick to get you back up the mountain. We loved the village and ski in out options.

Silver star is a fun and welcoming resort for skiers of all levels. It has a fantastic ski school. The resort is very quiet and often has no lift line ups. They have excellent runs for all levels and a fantastic terrain park. They also have great cross country skiing. The accommodation is comfortable and cheap and the staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Silver Star for your next ski holiday.

SilverStar is AWESOME! The skiing is amazing and there is so much variety in terrain theres something for everyone. The staff are from all over the world and are super friendly and caring. Lift lines arent ever too crowded and you spend a lot more time skiing than waiting for a lift. Overall my favorite resort ever!

I have only skied here once in the early season before my own home hill was open, though I had a great experience. The staff at the hill were knowledgeable and kind. Lift tickets were extremely affordable and the hill was easy to get around. I went to a nice little cafe for lunch with friendly staff and fast service. I most definitely plan to come back to this hill again because of the awesome experience that I had.

Silver Star is such a cool mountain, the frontside has family friendly groomed runs, with really fun tree run areas in between as well as access to the bike park trails to hit on the skis, its super cool being able to hit things like triple wood drops on skis.

The backside gets you great double blacks, as well as great locals terrain. Youre able to ride untouched powder for days at a time if you know where to go.

The terrain park crew are the coolest group on the mountain, all amazing riders and very down to earth. They take extreme pride in their work so the park is always looking/ riding good.

The ski hill is a very family friendly location to set up camp for a while, very welcoming and very progressive.
The terrain park is my personal favourite, there is 3 parks spread between the mountain and even one for night skiing I would highly recommend visiting anytime you can. !!

Silverstar is an incredible mountain for the whole family, with a cozy, picturesque village, and endless runs suited for all types of skiers, Sunny Silverstar is the place to be this winter.
The ski school boasts a high quality of instructors from all over the world to provide an incredible guest experience
Silverstar also has many other activities such as ice skating, snow tubing, mini snow-mobiling, snowshoeing and more. The Nordic trails are incredible for a more relaxed day. The lift tickets are quite reasonable for the amount of skiable terrain. Would highly recommend!

Ive been skiing at Silverstar for two whole seasons now, going back for a third. The resort is good overall, and in my opinion better value for money than the next closest resort, big white. The quality and quantity of terrain is very good, and everything is well maintained. One disadvantage for me personally is the lack of alpine terrain, as the whole resort is below tree line. Regardless of this, steep and technical terrain and powder can still be found, but can be challenging during periods of less snowfall. There is a large glades area called deer park which is extremely fun to mess around when the snow falls, but it takes a while to get to, so theres a lot of time spent on chairlifts to lap deer park. The terrain parks are good and have some big features, and the mini parks have fun small features perfect for learning. Good mogul areas can be hard but not impossible to find if that is your thing. Parking has never really been an issue and the overflow parking lot has a shuttle that runs back and forth to the village all day, or you can ski to the lower lifts directly from the overflow lot. The village has plenty of restaurants and bars that are all a good time and food is as expensive as expected at a resort, but some good deals can be found. Id say the skiing is good overall but can leave something to be desired, however it is a great resort for holding a season pass because of its fair prices, close proximity to a major town, and small-resort feel.

The Resort is great for anybody, whether they are beginners or advanced. There are dozen of activities for non skiers/ snowboarders as well like tubing or a frozen pond for skating. The Village at the centre is a great place for shopping or eating. The lunch room is perfect for anybody who wants to bring their own lunch and provides glove warmers.
Some of the lifts are a bit slow, but the runs are definitely worth it, whether youre only going down the groomed slopes or off piste as well. The main lifts can get quite busy during holidays, but youll always find one without a line.
Everybody is really nice and respectful, making it a great experience.

I worked at Silverstar as a lifty 2 years ago and loved every minute. The resort has an awesome lifestyle as the village is perched up on the mountain. Ski in/ski out was just far too much fun.

The terrain park was mint and the there was plenty of quiet days with no lines. Highly recommend the resort although not as nutty terrain as somewhere like Fernie or Revelstoke
