I worked at Silverstar for a season in 2023. This mountain is so underrated and should be talked about more. The village looks like it’s out of a fairy tale and the snow is just unreal. You barely ever/ever have to wait in a lift line. You can go all around the mountain in one circle so it’s very well set out. After a big day on the mountain head to the red antler to get a superb pint. It will round off the perfect day.

Great fun for kids and easy to progress through the grades of runs. Fab time on the backside for adults to explore when not with kids.

Great snow, friendly people and amazing value for money. We stayed in a ski-in/out chalet on the mountain for 3 of us but slept 8 people! It included a hottub, a full kitchen, washer/dryer... what more could you ask for? There isn't too much of an après vibe in Canada for most of the slopes unless you're a liftie, so wouldn't set those expectations. But you can definitely have your own après at your lodge!

I switched to skiing this year and it was so much fun at Silverstar. I rented and the staff were great, equipment was pretty great, kept in good condition as well. Good place for beginners and experts. The runs are really well laid out so if your group has a mixed bag of expertise you can still stick together/wind up together.
