What Skiers Say About Revelstoke

Revelstoke attracts predominantly advanced and expert skiers and snowboarders seeking deep powder and challenging terrain. Users consistently highlight exceptional tree skiing, long vertical runs, and frequent snowfall that creates excellent off-piste conditions. The resort is praised for minimal lift queues outside peak periods, though gondola waits can exceed 30-40 minutes after fresh snowfall on weekends and holidays. Several reviewers note the limited lift infrastructure for the mountain's size, requiring traverses that challenge snowboarders. Lower elevation runs frequently suffer from warm temperatures and poor snow quality, while upper mountain terrain remains snow-sure. The town is close to the resort but separated, affecting après-ski convenience.

Revelstoke offers some of the best tree skiing and glades, filled with fabulous snow. Its an endurance hill with long runs, and plenty of steeps. So much fun to explore.

The glades are endless. The runs are all super long with really great varied terrain for every level of skier. Some back country type access from a short boot pack into awesome bowls, again endless terrain. Only 2 chairlifts service the entire top 2 areas, but with so much (vast) terrain you never see a line up. . Very groovy ski town and vibe

At this point theres not a lot of on mountain accommodations to choose from and what there is can be a bit pricey. Plus once the lifts close for the day it pretty quiet up there. I stayed in the town of Revelstoke with a quick shuttle to the mountain. What an awesome ski town, everything youll need with a great vibe.
If youre looking for the steep and the deep then this is the place. Great snow and tree skiing
One for the Bucket List for sure!!!

Revelstoke has some awesome terrain and incredible tree runs. There was an extra terrain park with beginner features only which I loved and the lifts were quick with no queues!

Revelstoke is by far one of the best resorts in Canada and well worth paying a visit. The snow is great all year round and has the best tree runs of any mountain Ive been to. The runs are super long with loads of cashes of powder as well as many groomed runs to end the day off. The parks there are pretty good Ive definitely seen better but the rest of the mountain makes up for it.

Revelstoke is so iconic for a reason. Catch this place on a powder day and you will find out quickly. So much cool terrain for the more bold riders to progress on. And if you like groomers, there is one all the way to the bottom of the mountain and I can guarantee that you will be pooped but the end of it.

Revelstokewhat a place! Home to some of the deepest turns of my life and what is surely some of the best ´in bounds skiing on the planet.
If youre into tree skiing, this is the spot for you with thousands of acres of gladed terrain.
A short hike up to Sub peak gives you amazing views of the surrounding area and lots of option on the way down. Theres plenty of easy access to slack country terrain either side of the resort once things start getting tracked.
I wouldnt recommend Revy to beginners as the majority of the runs are steep and often un groomed. Also, a heads up to snowboarders, theres lots of traversing around the resort back to lifts at the bottom of runs.
As the resort is a short drive from town, there isnt really an après seen at the bottom of the hill like you might find in Europe. There are however, plenty of good bars and restaurants in town to enjoy post ski.

I was thoroughly impressed with the terrain at Revelstoke. We came early season so there wasnt a ton open, but it had the best snow in Canada and all the resorts we had skied so far. The expert terrain was amazing and the amount of easy access cliff drops was mind blowing. I felt like I was in the air more than I was on the ground. And the landings were killer too! Overall a phenomenal resort and I will be back.

Came here to work the winter season and was not disappointed. As a first time snowboarder revy has been a challenge however it's been a challenge at my own pace. I started on revvys stellar chair before progressing to ripper and stoke chair. The North and South bowls are incredible, both are technically slack country due to there being a little hike to get to them however the mountain still patrols these areas and performs avalanche control for these areas. If back country or slack country and powdery lines is in your line of sight then revvy is the spot for you!

I was a little disappointed at the terrain park and hope for more features, however it is still fun and has jumps ranging from small upto XL.

As a beginner snowboarder I found Revelstoke a really hard resort there are only a few limited wide green runs that allow inexperienced snowboarders to comfortably ride most green runs are super narrow pathways connecting other runs(such as blue or black).

I went on a weekend with not a lot of snow so the terrain was not very favorable for snowboards that are learning like myself.

Although it has not been a great powder year, we spent 5 days at Revy and were blown away by the terrain and still get in 65k of vertical. Glades galore. Steep groomers. Hikes to North bowl and sub peak well worth it. Gondola at base is pretty much only choke point on powder days. Sutton lodge at base was disappointing. Not really that well maintained. No easy way to dry gear and boot liners. Appreciated the in suite washing dryer combo and full kitchen.

Some serious inbound offpiste options and I learned the hard way not to follow tracks blindly but it did provide some spicey runs that I don't really want to repeat so if you want max gnar revelstoke is for you, and the local town has loads of restaurants and bars, i recommend the taco place

Just back from 4 days at Revelstoke. Amazing ski resort! Awesome bowls, tree runs, a lot of expert terrain, there was fresh snow we had a wonderful time there. Best ski station in Canada, and one of the best in North America. There are better resorts for family and other-than-ski activities, but for skiers, this one is great!

Not for the beginner or the faint of heart. This mountain is for the avid thrill seeker. Not really for the beginner. The bowls are awesome. The top is all steeps.

Amazing glades and tree runs. This mountain definitely tailors to advanced to expert riders but is a ton of fun once youre at that level. Not much for food or places to stay but the riding is amazing. Most of the time there is fresh snow as well, if not you can always find it in the trees.
