What Skiers Say About Revelstoke
Revelstoke attracts predominantly advanced and expert skiers and snowboarders seeking deep powder and challenging terrain. Users consistently highlight exceptional tree skiing, long vertical runs, and frequent snowfall that creates excellent off-piste conditions. The resort is praised for minimal lift queues outside peak periods, though gondola waits can exceed 30-40 minutes after fresh snowfall on weekends and holidays. Several reviewers note the limited lift infrastructure for the mountain's size, requiring traverses that challenge snowboarders. Lower elevation runs frequently suffer from warm temperatures and poor snow quality, while upper mountain terrain remains snow-sure. The town is close to the resort but separated, affecting après-ski convenience.

Revvy is Ski mecca!
If youre looking for the steep and the deep then this is the place. Great snow and tree skiing
One for the Bucket List for sure!!!
If youre into tree skiing, this is the spot for you with thousands of acres of gladed terrain.
A short hike up to Sub peak gives you amazing views of the surrounding area and lots of option on the way down. Theres plenty of easy access to slack country terrain either side of the resort once things start getting tracked.
I wouldnt recommend Revy to beginners as the majority of the runs are steep and often un groomed. Also, a heads up to snowboarders, theres lots of traversing around the resort back to lifts at the bottom of runs.
As the resort is a short drive from town, there isnt really an après seen at the bottom of the hill like you might find in Europe. There are however, plenty of good bars and restaurants in town to enjoy post ski.
I was a little disappointed at the terrain park and hope for more features, however it is still fun and has jumps ranging from small upto XL.
I went on a weekend with not a lot of snow so the terrain was not very favorable for snowboards that are learning like myself.
Looking for a challenge, this is it. You will not be disappointed.
