Big White Review Summary
Big White attracts a wide range of skiers and snowboarders, from families with young children to advanced riders seeking powder and tree runs. The most consistent praise centres on champagne powder snow, minimal lift queues (especially midweek), extensive tree skiing, and a compact, family-friendly village with ski-in/ski-out accommodation. Reviewers frequently mention the resort's suitability for all ability levels, though several note that even green runs can be steep. The most common complaint is poor visibility during storms, earning it the nickname 'Big White-Out' among locals. Some reviews highlight limited nightlife and après-ski options compared to larger resorts, and a few mention higher prices for food and accommodation.

There are plenty of good groomed runs but due to the amount of snowfall the resort receives these are generally only in good condition early on in the day. The lift system is fairly modern but does suffer from queues, especially on powder days.
I would describe it as a friendly resort with a nice atmosphere, good ski school available and some good food and accommodation options.
And globe also all of the main lifts have a day lodge that has various food items if your a intermediate skier the T-bar is a great zone to ride with options ranging from green to double black runs but my favourite is going into the trees right off the t bar. Big white is over all a great resort and a good place to go for a winter getaway
