What Skiers Say About Brighton Resort
Brighton attracts a wide range of riders from beginners to experts, with many reviewers highlighting it as a locals' resort with a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere. The most consistently praised elements are powder quality, tree runs, terrain parks, and night skiing availability. Several users note it feels less crowded than other Utah resorts, though weekend and powder day congestion is mentioned. Parking has become a significant pain point since the introduction of reservations, with many reviewers struggling to secure spots. Food options are limited and overpriced according to multiple reviews, though tailgating in the parking lot is popular. Reviewers appreciate the variety of terrain for all levels and the absence of a luxury resort feel, though some note lift ticket prices have risen significantly.

The ski school is great aswell. I grew up learning to ski at Brighton and they have thought me all I know today. They have great coaches, that are not afraid to push you to help you succeed. The food/apres are alright. There are 3 dining places at Brighton that all serve generally the same thing. They added the most recent one in 2023-2024. This helped with congestion at the other two but still all of them are crowded and you will probably wait for a seat. Finally the park. The park is amazing. It is very flowy with it being made on a hill. It is also very empty because of this reason. There are three parks to help with skills. The beginner peewee to help introduce to rails, boxes, and jumps, next we have candy land. Candy land generally has more easy and flowy features on the way to majestic park. Finally majestic park. The biggest park with everything. Jumps, boxes, rails, and much more. There is also a jump park called my oh my. This park consists of three huge jumps to practice your biggest tricks. Brighton is overall a great resort and I would recommend it to everyone
The last remaining bastion of the true heart of a day on the mountain left in Utah. No resorts, no hotels, no overpriced beer, just a place to come ride with your bros and have a good time.
Its easy to get to from SLC, doesnt have the cost of Park City, Snowbasin, and Deer Valley, and seems less busy and quieter than Alta. And while its still expensive to ski here, I feel like the value for the amount of lifts and runs you can take without sitting in long lines rivals any Utah resort Ive been to.
