What Skiers Say About Brighton Resort

Brighton attracts a wide range of riders from beginners to experts, with many reviewers highlighting it as a locals' resort with a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere. The most consistently praised elements are powder quality, tree runs, terrain parks, and night skiing availability. Several users note it feels less crowded than other Utah resorts, though weekend and powder day congestion is mentioned. Parking has become a significant pain point since the introduction of reservations, with many reviewers struggling to secure spots. Food options are limited and overpriced according to multiple reviews, though tailgating in the parking lot is popular. Reviewers appreciate the variety of terrain for all levels and the absence of a luxury resort feel, though some note lift ticket prices have risen significantly.

The last time I skied this resort was over 20 years ago. What a pleasure to be back to resort I skied many times in my younger years. I truly enjoyed the friendly staff at this resort. The resort was clean and in amazing shape,I was lucky to get a fresh powder day and enjoyed the resort like I was in my youth again. I will return each year to ski this resort.

I grew up. Skiing at Brighton resort and always enjoyed the atmosphere there. They have every type of terrain you could ask for from beginners to black diamond runs, and some great powder! When I started skiing there in the 1960s they only had a double chair lift on the main runs, but have improved over the years to a top notch resort! I remember one of my favorite things back then was the music over the speakers on the way up the hill, a lot of yodeling! Its always been a fun atmosphere up there!

Amazing for snowboarding considering it does not have many flat spots. Multiple terrain options for all experience levels. More commonly frequented by young adult crowd and super friendly in general.

Highly suggest hot lapping Milly. You can get to almost any terrain you can think of (minus park) from there. Lots of cliffs, natural jumps, steep moguls, trees, and groomers. Ive never had a bad day on Milly lift.

I love Brighton so much, I grew up skiing here and absolutely love the terrain available here. The only downside to it is that its starting to become a lot busier and is loosing that local skier/rider feel to it. Still love it and all the awesome stuff available there.

You will need to reserve parking or catch the bus. The bus can be overcrowded and along wait. The range of terrain is good for both snowboarding and skiing. When the powder hits, it can be above your knees and a lot of fun. Signage should be improved but the main lodge is well used with some quiet spots for lunch..try the third floor for comfy chairs for a pack lunch. Food is expensive like most utah resorts. You won't regret coming here even on the weekends when it can be busier. The lifts are well run and the locals would like to keep here secret. The terrain park below the chairlift provides entertainment to set you in the mood for fun.

Some lifts go faster than others, has some really cool terrain and cliffs. Not a big park but what they do have is fun. Long lines

Brighton is definitely a hidden gem that gets more snow than Solitude even though its only a few more minutes up the canyon. Theres enough mountain for all types of skiers but one of the most popular attractions is Brightons readily accessible tree lines.

Brighton is suffering from lost identity. They used to be the locals resort. Uncrowded. Fairly priced. They felt pressure to join Ikon. Now they cant regulate it. Parking is impossible. Lift lines are long. Not as bad as their sister resort next door, but something needs to change.

Recently joined a 4-week ski camp at Brighton. Staff are friendly and our instructor is patient and attentive.

I have also snowboarded here and overall I find it comfortable to keep coming back as a beginner.

My family and i always go to brighton. Not only is it affordable, but it is a great size for all ages, has terrain for every level and it is not crazy crowded like the mor popular resorts in utah. Also, parking is FREE and a breeze and we dont have to walk a mile or catch a shuttle back to our car.

Brighton is the local throw down zone. Located at the top of the big cottonwood's its prime for powder. With tree runs off of the Snake Creek lift and parks running from top to bottom, its a skier/boarders dream land. Brightons got the rowdiest locals, and you can catch pros throughout the terrain parks and jump lines on the regular. Stop by if youve got the time!

Brighton is a gem of a resort. Great variety of terrain and one of the top places in the country for powder. Amazing terrain parks and great local utah hip culture. 5 major lifts that have minimal lines. So much opportunity for fun to be had.
