Brighton is a good family friendly resort. Overall, it leans on the beginner/intermediate terrain. While its advanced and expert terrain is good, its quite limited and can be overcrowded. A large drawback to the resort is its new parking reservations requirement, making skiing unavailable for some. Customer experience isnt the best. I had trouble purchasing tickets and when I called to inquire, the lady on the phone explained it was an unfixed glitch in their website and wasnt very friendly in general. Lift attendants dont pay the most attentionI saw a person fall while unloading at the top of a lift and the lift attendant didnt see it until the next chair was close to approaching. Terrain parks are great, but natural features arent my favorite; they often have very flat landings, as the whole resort isnt very steep compared to other Wasatch resorts in Utah. Lastly, Brighton consistently posts photos and videos of backcountry terrain near the resort on social media. These photos and videos do not contain disclaimers that the locations are out of bounds, causing people to believe its part of the resort. It doesnt help that these videos are always enticing too. I find it strange that Brighton does this when no other resort does this. At the very least Brighton should add a disclaimer stating the locations these pictures and videos were taken are out of bounds.

The last time I skied this resort was over 20 years ago. What a pleasure to be back to resort I skied many times in my younger years. I truly enjoyed the friendly staff at this resort. The resort was clean and in amazing shape,I was lucky to get a fresh powder day and enjoyed the resort like I was in my youth again. I will return each year to ski this resort.

I grew up. Skiing at Brighton resort and always enjoyed the atmosphere there. They have every type of terrain you could ask for from beginners to black diamond runs, and some great powder! When I started skiing there in the 1960s they only had a double chair lift on the main runs, but have improved over the years to a top notch resort! I remember one of my favorite things back then was the music over the speakers on the way up the hill, a lot of yodeling! Its always been a fun atmosphere up there!
