A big resort with lots of options to spread out, this allows riders to avoid crowds at the base areas but can lead to some times confusing navigation. Fast lifts help move you quickly to get a lot of vertical feet. Separate beginners areas at the base for first timmers. Not a huge amount of difficult terrain compared to other rockies resorts. Also free cookies at 3pm at the main village.

Ive skied at Beaver Creek since the moment I could walk. Its ability to offer something for each skill level is outstanding. Whether its low grade greens, to steep blues, and its infamous Birds of Prey area and Grouse Mountain (purely a mogul field/or powder heaven on given days). Beaver creek is a resort that you can almost never get bored of. Their out of bounds areas (Royal Elk, Stone Creek Chutes, Y chutes, and the peak of the mountain the bald spot, etc) are something out of a dream. With plenty of cliffs to jump, and untapped steep powder, its no doubt that youll be shouting with joy at the end of runs. Beaver Creek is a sliver of heaven personally, and as well to many who visit.

Exactly what to would expect from a small PA ski resort! Hotel is wonderful and the lodge is spacious but gets crowded on busy days. Food is good too. Ski conditions vary but when the snow making team is on point the runs are well covered and typically well groomed. The park crew takes great pride and care in their work and with favorable conditions it makes for a fun day!

My family had a great time. The lifts worked well and we had fresh powder we are beginners so we didn't get on the big hills but we still had a blast

Its a great tiny resort and the amenities are awesome. Lots of icy East coast skiing though! Easy to get to from Philly, Allentown, and Reading.
