Winter Park and Mary Jane are my home mountains. Ive been skiing here for almost 20 years. The Winter Park side is great for skiers and riders of all skill levels. They have a ton of easy terrain and are very family friendly. I prefer the Mary Jane side for more advanced terrain. MJ has great tree runs, back bowls, and snow conditions. If you are able to ski blues, it is also a great side to start your day on as you can ski to the lift from the parking lot. Overall great resort to explore!

Winter park is a Colorado classic. It has local vibes as opposed to big resort vibes. They have every terrain you could want. Mary Jane is a blast but has a lot of moguls, the rest of the mountain is awesome as well. They have good parking options and you can ski right to your car if you park at Mary Jane. I would definitely recommend taking the family for a ski trip to winter park

One of my favorite resorts. Less than 2 hours from Denver assuming minimal or no traffic. I usually stay on the Mary Jane side but sometimes venture over to winter park side too. Its a big mountain and theres a lot of runs with a good amount of tree skiing. I really love hitting sleeper and Mary Jane trail. Would recommend lapping supergauge lift or panoramic if its open.

I really like winter park, the skiing experience is quiet, relaxed, and really REALLY efficient on weekdays. The town is nice but I actually like the neighboring town of Fraser a bit more, its about a 3 minute drive from the winter park village. The grand valley community center in Fraser is a good spot to park to sleep overnight in your car as long as youre quiet about it. Park in the free lot, the paid lots are maybe 200 yards closer and expensive.

Great family friendly resort. Great skiing and lots of activities if you do not ski. Awesome restaurants at the village and in the town of Winter park and Fraser. Highly recommend this resort.

A great resort overall. From the more steep and difficult Mary Jane Side to the smooth groomers on the Winter Park side, this mountain has it all. Great off-piste action can be found off of the Panorama chair, as well as fun access to more technical terrain in the Cirque. More mellow front side action can be found on the beautiful winter park side, with nice and easy groomers such as by the High-Lonesome chair to more advanced terrain in the Eagle Wind chair area. Overall would recommend, just watch out not to get stuck on one side of the mountain, getting back can be a doozy.

Excellent resort, beloved mogul runs. I greatly enjoy every opportunity I get to ski here. I almost never buy food or drinks at ski resorts, and this one is no different. I greatly reccomend bringing your own food, snack, etc. I also would reccomend staying away from the WP side and ski MJ instead. It's a much better mountain for experienced skiers.

I love to ski at Winterpark, and it has been my home mountain for 10 years, and I am 14 Years Old! I know all the hidden spots, nooks, and powder stashes there too. One of my all ttime Favs is Tophers Trees which is off to the left of the bottom turn on a trail called Roundhouse. It is not a marked run on the map, but ski partrol, and other skiers ski it regulary, but on the last run of the day I ALWAYS go down topers trees. This is becuase it holds the best snow on the mountain when everything else is skied out. Winter park has much to offer for non tree skiers too! There is a run called sleeper that is a groomer from the top of Mary Jane (One of the Main Parts of the Mountain.) It also has about 1500 feet of vertical to go down. For Mogoul skiers there is a top notch mogul run called Outhouse that is less than half a mile and has a 900 foot vertical drop. There are several high speed six pack lifts that get you to the top of the mountain fast for your next lap. Or you could just relax at one of the many food court lodges Winter park has to offer. There is also many hotels at the base of the mountain like Zephyr lodge or Winter Park Mountain lodge. There are some restraunts at the base, but there is a really good wide choice of restaunts less than a five minute dirve away in the town of Winter Park where there are even more food options. Not to mention Winter Park gets a whopping 320 inches on an average year. For people who like ski lessons, Winter park offers them and almost every ski day see the instructors teaching the people who signed up for lessons. For expert skiers there is the Cirque which is hike to, high alpine expert terrain. For people who would rather not get tired hiking there is also expert terrain in mary Jane which are called the Jane chutes. All in all I couldn't be more happy that Winter Park is my home resort becuase all the variety it has to offer. I have skied at countless other resorts in Colordo and in other nearby States in the USA, but overall I think Winter Park is THE BEST!

Winter Park has a perfect balance between beginner and advanced terrain. On Winter Parks front side there is a wide array of beginner trails with Terrain Parks and mogul runs that more advanced skiers and boarders can ride. With the Discovery Park beginner area anyone can learn to ski without feeling like they are reserved to the base. If you have children that are learning to ski you should check out the Ski + Ride School located at the base underneath the West Portal and Sorensen beginner park with multiple magic carpets and a Poma Button lift. The Mary Jane side is more designed for intermediate to advanced skiers with the vast mogul fields and endless cliffs and trees. If you take 1-2 lift rides up on either base side you can access high alpine skiing including the Vasquez bowl and The Cirque which at a short hike or snowcat ride can provide the best untouched powder stashes and endless cliffs leading into The Eaglewind trees. Get on Eagle wind and enjoy the trees and untouched powder or ski over to the top of Mary Jane with the Lunch Rock lodge for a quick snack or grab a beer and sit on the outside patio overlooking James and Perrys peak at golden hour. Then take a short ride down Village Way to the base. Head up on The Gondola to the Sunspot to enjoy après dinner or happy hour with a breath taking view. Or eat at any of the restaurants or breweries at the base and in the Village. With 7 different territories there is plenty of space to explore your boundaries for any skier of any level. Overall I HIGHLY recommend going here, I ski on the competition team and get over 50 days and can say Winter Park is the best for any and all skiers and riders. Also follow @mason.petitmermet on insta
