I also wanted to mention that this Ski Resort is one of the only ones that have a virtual ski on site and an outstanding adaptive ski program as well.

Mountain high is a fun vocal resort for people in Southern California. The terrain could be more challenging. Their East resort is nice because it has the feel of a bigger mountain for a quick day trip. Its nice. The drive is easy without a lot of mountain roads.

Mammoth Mountain in California is a Great family fun Winter vacation for both Skiers and Riders for all levels. Great Snow Mobile adventure trips for everyone , even those who dont skinor ride. We stayed in the Village at the Westin. hotel/resort. Awesome manned equipment lackers under the Gondola station. Gondola takes you right to Canyon Lodge in Mammoth.

I like that Mountain High has 3 mountains. But typically only 1 (West) is open. East mountain opens only when there is a lot of snow.(my Fav!) Nice long high-speed chair but, only one. East is for more intermediate and Advanced skiers/riders. (No playground feature) Unfortunately, the high-speed lifts Slows and Stops A LOT. This is because there is a small Green run at the top with their own small lift. So, these beginners are just learning and slowing or stopping the chair a lot. Lastly, the top is a scenic spot for non skier/rider visitors. They are poorly instructed on how to use the lift and this causes MORE slowing and Stopping. (Resort Lift operators needs to be better trained to better accommodate all of this) Other than that, I like that it is typicall less crowded at Mountain High and the drive is super easy. No Cliff Hanger winding road Mountain driving. Thank you, Mitchell

The resort where I learned to ski and continue to develop my park skills, cant say enough good words about this place. Yes, its not the biggest, but the value for your money is incredible especially with night skiing. Theres a good mix of advanced terrain once the snow pack accumulates and beginner areas as well. I get a season pass each year and the value is worth it to me even for an hour and a half commute, always support indy mountains!

Mountain High is my favorite local ski resort. Good amount of trails for a variety of experience levels. Gets pretty busy, but there's enough trails to give everyone space. Overall snow quality is also typically better here than other socal resorts. Expensive, but on par with the area.
