The mountain is Mammoth! A great selection of terrain, most of it above the tree line. Some excellent steep chutes and cornices to throw yourself off or an insane terrain parkif you like more controlled air. Cruisey blues are great taking you for long journeys around the mountain. My favourite runs are the chutes off the foot accessed Hemlocks and trees in the Dragons back area.

Favorite park on the ikon pass. definitely for the more advanced rider but if you can manage, it will be a great time with great scenery and great snow.

Incredible place with super b vibes. Best resort closer to LA. The apres ski parties are one of the absolute best in California

Mammoth is the greatest of all time, the snow, the people, the good vibes! No mountain in the world gets me excited to ride as much as mammoth (sneaky tip) jibs is a really quiet run and if you ride down there its absolutely silent and beautiful

Mammoth is very expensive and very crowded on weekends but has lots of runs and so many sides of the mountains. Has some fun runs.

Enjoyed spring skiing temps jn January in 40sDue to lack of recent snow both moguls and glades were iced over and not many using. Being from the east I dipped into outer trees and was delighted at the spacing of the pines but kept my longtime habit of avoiding runs locals aren't usingConditions were amazing as was amount of trails and lifts open even on quiet days after the holiday weekend. Stayed on outskirts of village, amount of shops and restaurants open was amazing. Downtown not far away ,used Bishop airport easy ride due to clear roads. One good dump and this place will be top level. We loved all the blues, blueblacks and black bowls. Didn't have the guts to attempt double black chutes. This rates with tahoe, steamboat and cottonwood canyon Utah for best of the west!

Very good resort for all level of skiers and boarders alike. We were not waiting long for the lifts. Plenty of lunch time options all over the mountain. Already booked the next trip!

Always a good time in Mammoth! The terrain variety is incredible, with something for everyone. The snow conditions are usually excellent, especially after a good storm, and the views are breathtaking. The lifts are fast and the staff is super friendly. Overall, Mammoth is a must visit!

This is my home resort. Ski here >10 days a year. This is a large resort with world class terrain. Main gondola fits 8 people. There are several new high speed 6 person lifts. There are nice tree runs and chutes. On mountain dining is ok, overpriced compared to abroad. $20 for a burger. Apre ski eating options are mediocre and lacking. Town life is lacking. Best for experienced skiers that don't have to go back to the Base often. Lifts at the bases usually have long waits. Oftentimes gondola and upper mountains close due to strong winds. Snow is Sierra cement and wet. Not like Colorado or Utah powderr.

Mammoth is amazing! There is a variety of runs for a variety of skill types, with access to terrain parks, moguls, gulleys, off piste shoots, and easy to access tree runs! I havent met someone who didnt like this mountain. After riding the apres starts at 3, and they have bumping djs that keep the party going even during blizzards! Most accommodations via the mountain are less than 10 minutes and the town has a great set of shuttles that guarantee easy mountain access wherever you end up. Something I would highly recommend is stopping in bishop (the neighboring town) for their baked goods and famous sheepherders bread for easy mountain carbs. This is the ideal place for those with an ikon pass and large groups. I was just there with 30 people to celebrate some good powder and everyone had a great time!
