Heavenly is a large resort and when they get snow there is room and Terran for everyone. There has not been enough snow lately for good off groom trails. Heavenly did finally start making snow on Gunbarrel last week, I am not sure why they waited so long. We are starting to get snow again but the snow levels are high, hopefully by the end of this week the skiing will be very good.

Good big ski resort in Tahoe with great views of Lake Tahoe. Three sides of the mountain gives you options to ski for couple days, including beginner to double blacks. Snowfall depends on the season but usually packed snow/icey, with powder on good days only

Heavenly has some of the best lake views in Tahoe, and a lot of varying terrain. The green runs arent very well connected so learning is tough here but us great at every other level. It is prone to wind holds and resort closure due to wind so keep an eye on the weather, if you have an eoic pass you can drive to northstar or kirkwood in case of closure. The surrounding area, South Lake Tahoe, has lots of hotels to stay in that are walking distance to the village and casinos if you want to gamble.

Awesome powder skiing with the ability to ski anywhere. Lots of powder and tree skiing. Definitely a place to go back again

Wonderful place to ski with the family! Something for everyone and absolutely beautiful! We were a family of four and all of us (varying levels) enjoyed the slopes at Heavenly! We also enjoyed the surrounding town/area. Will definitely go again.

Good ski resort with lots of terrain, tree runs, and solid groomed blues. The apres scene is decent, with some cool spots at Heavenly village at the Base. My main issue was with the logistics and general lift efficiency while I was there. For starters, you have to either take the gondola down or ski/board a blue run with lots of pushing if you dont have speed. There was also an incident early this season, so they are closing lifts even in mild wind now. This makes it really challenging to get to different parts of the mountain (CA/NV sides) depending on conditions. Overall, my experience was okay here.

Went when there wasn't much no snow and having no ski down access to lower lodges was annoying..............

Beautiful views, but crowded on weekends and alot of flat spots making it better for skiers than snowboarders.

Fab resort - California side always busy. Epic tree runs after a good storm and Mott Canyon offers a challenge for those that like to push themselves.

Heavenly is an amazing resort. Its busy for a reason. This resort is perfect for a big group trip, theres so many runs and you can choose your side on California or Nevada. You cant go wrong with choosing Heavenly.
