The whole area is amazing. The snowmaking and piste management is second to none, and the ability to make up a tour each day and go on a little adventure to a Refugio or historic site is unique.

Food and drink on and off the slopes is typically cheap and excellent, and very rarely are you queuing for a lift for more than a few minutes at a time, most you can get straight on. The ski pass itself is on the high side, but worth it for the facilities.

Off-piste is available, but not in the same manner you get elsewhere in Europe, often requiring a guide and seemingly rare conditions these days. That said, the Marmolada does provide a number of consistent routes down.

Great little resort that remains fairly quiet and peaceful yet connected to the Sella Ronda so best of both worlds if you want a small area where it’s hard to get lost and good value eating and drinking. Or loads of variety of pistes to explore nearby . Good ski bus connections that work beyond lift closing times.

A really lovely location for a family trip. Food and drink on the slopes were very affordable compared to France. €8 for pasta pizza ect. Well groomed runs. Not massive difficulty so better for intermediate/ beginners and kids.

Love the Dolomites, usually go to Corvara but wanted to try another (cheaper) resort. Pozza was recommended and so far so good. Flew to Bergamo and caught the FlySkiShuttle bus. Less than 100 euros return each!
Eating out is reasonably priced and really friendly. Not many Brits here but everybody seems to speak English so all good.
Pozza does link with the Sella Ronda but dont leave it too late to come back as its a cable car then 3 lifts. However, the last run down to Pozza is one of the best. Still fast and un- mogully at half four when the light was going.

This is definitely more of a family resort but is by far one of the nicest Ive been too. All the runs were beautifully kept and was never overcrowded even when going in school holidays. The powder and off piste options were amazing. The black runs were good but definitely on the easier side compared to French resorts. The scenery was stunning and all mountain lunches we had were very affordable for mountain prices. Not really any apres ski that we could find but is great for a relaxing ski holiday, there are lots of affordable spa hotels to relax in after a day of skiing. Lift queue for the gondola can be long in the morning but it moves fast.
