Pontedilegno - Tonale has taken steps toward sustainability, though it's not yet at the forefront of eco-friendly Alpine resorts. The area benefits from hydroelectric power generation, common in the Italian Alps, which supplies some of the resort's energy needs.

Public transport connections exist but are limited, with most visitors arriving by private transfer or car. The resort could benefit from expanding shuttle services between villages and implementing more comprehensive waste management and energy conservation programs across accommodations and lift systems.
