Wonderful resort, with plenty of variety of skiing.
Sits in between 3 peaks, so there is always somewhere new to explore.
Lovely traditional village centre with loads of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants.
Easy to access the slopes and very few queues on the excellent lift system.
A real gem!

Madonna di Campiglio is a fantastic place to ski for skiers and snowboarders of all ages and all levels. The lift service is efficient - and it's easy to get from run to run but remember to duck when getting in and out of the main Groste life. I enjoy being able to ski long distances without having to take too many lifts. The runs are well groomed and clearly marked - and you're able to cross the bridge on skis and ski both sides of the valley. Some great restaurants mid run - I would recommend the restaurant at the top of the Groste lift - for a special treat, don't go for the self-service, book a table - it's outstanding. The scenery is beautiful .

An amazing place to ski with the highlight of a black run to the centre of town. This run is used for the night world cup alpine skiing men's slalom competition every year.
Bars and eateries are plentiful but can be a bit pricy, so check before you go in and you will not have any surprises.
Best time to ski is lunch time so you get the slopes to yourself and the restaurants quieter before and after. Food on the slopes is of high standard and quality - take your time to enjoy.
Fast skiing area if you like to travel rather than stay on the same runs all day.

More upmarket Dolomites ski area than the Dolomiti Superski area further East, but maybe not quite as scenic and a bit more expensive. Good mix of blues, reds & blacks on expertly prepared pistes with good lift system. No real off piste as this is Italy, but enough variety for a 1 week trip. On mountain food good with many places offering self- service and table service options on same site. But fewer places on the hill compared to Dolomiti Superski area. Range of accommodation mostly 4* hotels with some 3 & 5 also. Excellent range of shops & restaurants in town. Enough variety of bars etc for most tastes, although not aware of any serious apres ski or late night life for the hardened party crowd - this is Italy so its all about the passegietta.

Well groomed pistes and high quality mountain restaurants and apres bars. Good choice of evening restaurants and bars. Ski area nice but not big enough for a full week of extensive skiing compared to Sellaronda or 3 Valleys or Espace Killy

Stayed at the Spinale Hotel, right next to the lift station and had a great time. Food on the slopes was really good and couldn’t fault the coffee. The skiing was great for decent intermediates, good mix of runs offering plenty of challenge. Nice range of restaurants and bars, but not too loud.

Visited for the first time in Jan 26. There was very little natural snow but almost everything was open on good artificial snow helped by the generaly low temperatures. It's predominantly an intermediates resort with lovely wide gentle red blue runs. The few blacks while reasonably steep in places were almost deserted. Lift system is good with almost no waiting. Stayed at the excelent Golf hotel just out of the main town and idealy placed for the main Groste lifts. Almost but not quite ski in ski out. On a Crystal package week from UK.

Spentt a week in Madonna di Campiglio early April 25. Really enjoyed the area, hotel was beautiful, town itself was also very picturesque. Skiing was very good with a nice variety of slopes with different challenges although some of the areas had closed for the season by the time we arrived. Was very warm so snow was getting slushy near the bottom later in the week but would be very keen to go back to Madonna again to explore the full area

Lifts were centrally busy and main slopes messy. Whole resort felt disjointed.
Apres was non existent where we were but we stayed on the mountain in a family run hotel. Access was fantastic and ski in/ out was the driving force of the decision.
Blacks were good and reds were long. We're a family of competent skiers and nothing was too challenging.
We had a good time but wouldn't come again, not with so many other resorts to try.

One of the coolest resorts I have ever been to. If you want to take in gorgeous views of the Dolomites all day. This is the spot. The skiing was also epic with a wide variety of runs for different levels.

Charming town, modern lift system, queues for lifts small, apart from the link to Marilleva which was massive. Excellent food. Well groomed pistes.

I have been skiing at Madonna do Campiglio for many years, since 2018. The resort has only got better!! They have invested in new lifts updating old chairs for comfort and to speed up queues. The all area pass gives plenty of run options, you won’t get bored being there. And there is a good number of black runs, some very advanced, scattered about. The resort is still very family friendly with wide blues. Would absolutely recommend!!

My experience at this resort was on a school ski trip. The weather was amazing, the people were so friendly, snow was fabulous. There were so many different types of slopes to ski down. Really recommend for groups of friends or families!

Madonna di Campiglio is a great resort for snow sports. There are several parks for those who enjoy jumpd/trick riding. Quite a large ski area with distinct areas. You can go off on ski/boarding days skiing to other resorts. Makes for a feeling of touring rather than just going up and down all the time. Great to travel to Folgarida, Marilleva, Groste or Pinzolo. The are is pretty snow sure with the vast majority or runs having snow canons as a back up. The town itself is very pretty, not a purpose built ski resort. Lots of bars and restaurants for the evenings. Not massive on apres ski although there are a few options. I don't think there are great options for off piste if that's your thing, but plenty of variety of pistes. Not many flat spots if you are boarding except for a section of piste 60 around the bottom of the Groste area. These can be avoided however.
