What Skiers Say About Madonna di Campiglio

Madonna di Campiglio attracts primarily intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders, with users consistently noting the extensive, well-groomed piste network spanning around 150km across linked areas including Pinzolo, Folgarida, and Marilleva. The resort receives frequent praise for its efficient modern lift system, scenic Dolomite views, and high-quality mountain restaurants offering good value Italian food. Several reviewers mention the upmarket atmosphere and higher prices compared to other Italian resorts, though opinions on après-ski are mixed—some find it limited while others appreciate the refined Italian vibe. Snowboarders note some flat blue connecting runs that require walking or skating. Reviews are generally very positive about piste maintenance, variety of terrain, and family-friendliness, though a few mention the area can get crowded during weekends and Italian school holidays.

Incredible lift infrastructure, a lot of which seems brand new. The piste grooming is some of the best I've ever seen.

Fantastic Ski Resort- Great Instructors in Marilleva where we had loads of snow. Our instructor took the opportunity to take us everywhere off-piste. Truly beautiful and wonderful experience. Never had such a kind a lovely ski instructor before (Thanks Guido)- Despite the resort seeming smaller than other rivals on paper, it still feels like an endless world of skiing- It may be expensive but I trully believe it is a fantastic place and also very pretty & scenic. I trully do recommend this resort

Massive resort that will take more than a week to fully explore. Great long runs for intermediate skiers/snowboarders with a few good spots to venture off piste. Make sure to catch the last lift to Passo Groste, the view in the evening is unreal. Good for families and decent prices for food/drinks. Don't expect crazy nightlife or many apres options.

We love Madonna Di Campiglio, have visited several times staying at Marilleva TH 1400. Fantastic resort, they really know how to look after the snow so the beautiful weather combines perfectly with great snow. Brilliant for families and advanced skiers, so many runs to try. Lots of other activities and the perfect ski holiday.

Skied at Madonna di Campiglio, in March, snow was great. Lots of challenging runs, great resort for intermediate and advanced skiers. Food and drink really reasonably priced on the slopes too. Apres was on the quieter side but plenty of options to go for drinks close to the slopes in the town.

Madonna di Campigio is a fantastic intermediate/advanced piste resort with great connections via ski lifts to two other resorts providing extensive skiing and diverse terain. There aren't many off-piste options in the resort areas but this is an area to ski on piste, on beautifully prepared runs and excellent snow. The restaurants are all good and the apre is "refined italian"
It's also an excellent resort for families and teaching your children to ski.
