Great little resort thats technical part of the Vialattea but getting over to Sauze dOulx or Sestriere is an effort involving many slow ski lifts and not very exciting skiing. We ended up taking a bus to Sestriere for the day which has great skiing options. It is logistically much easier to ski to Montgenevre for a change of scenery but the skiing in Claviere is better so depending on level you want not want to leave. Many lifts are old and slow but the upside is you will rarely have to queue for any of them as it is a quiet resort especially give it is snow sure.
Limited accommodation options especially more luxury options and apres ski is muted.

I have been skiing here many years now and I love it so much one of the most beautiful place in the world to visit

A gorgeous smaller resort that connects well to both Mont Genevre and the popular Sauze dolux. The resort itself is quieter with a few good bars and restaurants for the evening. Slopes are well maintained and there are some cute on-piste bars.

I was a rep here for 3 months. With links to Montgenevre and the rest of the Vialattea ski area, there was more than enough to stay occupied when skiing pretty much everyday. The resort is quiet and if youre wanting something more challenging then heading over the border is a matter of 1 chair lift and 1 red run or a push across the golf course. I would say the only downside is that there isnt much in terms of apres in Claviere itself - you need to look further afield. Perfect for beginners or school trips and a range of more challenging slopes for those looking for it.

We take our school ski trip here every year, the value for money and quality of skiing is brilliant.
For beginners and intermediates this resort is amazing.
You can ski to San Sicario, Sauze dOulx, Sestriere and over the Italian/french border to Montgenèvre.
Brilliant resort for families and those who like open free slopes.
