What Skiers Say About Les Menuires

Les Menuires is primarily reviewed by intermediate and advanced skiers who value its central position in the Three Valleys system, allowing easy access to Méribel, Val Thorens, and Courchevel. Most users highlight the extensive skiing options, efficient lift system, and significantly lower accommodation costs compared to neighbouring resorts. The resort is consistently described as family-friendly with good ski schools, though many note the purpose-built architecture lacks charm and the après-ski scene is quieter than Val Thorens or Méribel. Several reviewers mention busy pistes during peak periods, particularly school holidays, and crowded runs at the base of the resort.

Ive skied at Les Menuires late in the season for the last 3 years. There is a great choice of runs from blues to reds. The lifts connect many runs and the whole
Of the 3 Valleys. There are some stunning views and plenty of choice for food and apres.

Les menuires is a go to resort if you want to ski in France on a budget. If you are ok with aging accommodation then it is a good option. With a 3 valleys pass you can ski all week and explore a new area everyday. The resort is best for those comfortable with blue and red runs.

Les Menuires is a small, purpose-built town near Val Thorens. It's affordable and has plenty of stunning accommodation options with ski-in-ski-out.

It takes less than 45 mins by ski to get to the centre of VT where the skiing is possibly the best in Europe.

It's a gorgeous ski to Meribel and Courcheval too.

Les Menuires is a fantastic spot if you're looking for unbelievable skiing on a budget. Great accommodation options and decent enough restaurants.

Would recommend.

Visited this resort so many times with school and after. Perfect for a ski and snow filled get away. With a huge range of slopes for all abilities, incredible and patient instructors available for tips and lessons. Great variety of bars, restaurants and shops. The ski in accommodations are great making getting out to ski for the day and get back to your home away from home at the end of the day so easy!

Family resort. The off pist terrrain is amazing (go to La Masse) the access to the 3 valleys makes it the largest ski area in the world.
The park is small and only for low level riders.
This is a great resort for the whole family.

Best skiing I ever. It offers 3000km worth of skiing and the jumps are very big. The place offers pizza which was very good and a hot chocolate was the best I ever had.

The resort is easy to navigate and good for a chilled ski holiday, with Roc 1 and 2 being some of my favourite home from home runs and having welcoming bars to apres along the way - itll always be a favourite. The only shame would be the lack of park settings, harder / steeper runs and moguls in this area of the alps, however with the 3 valleys pass you can access many places that do suc courchevel, val theorens and merited - that have the thrill factor to them. These other resorts connected by easy accessible lifts makes the stay that whole lot better at les menuires.

Great resort with plenty of ski for range of abilities, lifts are fast, modern and efficient giving easy access to all of the 3 valleys without much need for queues.

Some good on piste restaurant and bars and a range in the village. Not the liveliest of places but enough to do and get involved in.

Great links into rest of 3 Vallees, but a lot cheaper than more well known resorts. Some great, quieter oruns above Les Menzies on the far side of the valley.

Spent a week skiing in mid december. Poor vis the first day meant we stayed close to the resort. Powder the next day and Le Masse opened! Awesome day skiing and managed to catch the sunset before heading down to Challenge for a night out. Best night out was probably at Le Skilt on monday when Revolverlights played!
