What Skiers Say About Les Menuires

Les Menuires is primarily reviewed by intermediate and advanced skiers who value its central position in the Three Valleys system, allowing easy access to Méribel, Val Thorens, and Courchevel. Most users highlight the extensive skiing options, efficient lift system, and significantly lower accommodation costs compared to neighbouring resorts. The resort is consistently described as family-friendly with good ski schools, though many note the purpose-built architecture lacks charm and the après-ski scene is quieter than Val Thorens or Méribel. Several reviewers mention busy pistes during peak periods, particularly school holidays, and crowded runs at the base of the resort.

First time in Les Menuires, visiting with family. Worked in France as a seasonnaire back in the day and this was the first time on a snowboard in 10 years... turns out I can still do it at a decent level. My family had a great time will definitely be going on more snow trips in the future

We stayed in Chalet yellow at Les Menuires, which was connected to the 3 valleys so we could ski literally everywhere! Amazing snow and great Apres ski. Would definitely come back!

We loved our family ski trip and would like to do much more like this. The snow was good. Facilities were god but swimming pool in les manures is very cold. So we had to travel to Couchervel for the pool.

My partner and I stayed in Les Menuires croisette for some spring skiing. Plenty of snow and in mid-March plenty of space on the pistes and the lift queues were manageable throughout. Menuires has excellent access to other resorts creating a super ski area.

This resort was fantastic as a more budget way to stay in the three valleys. We spent most our time in courchevel and Méribel which was fantastic, which we could easily access from the slopes and ski in and out of our accommodation

Les Menuires was a nice little resort. The rental shops were friendly and really helpful, if you need to speak to tourist information or collect anything on the first day expect to queue for about an hour. There’s a great selection of blue and green runs, some nice little bars dotted about, less bars on the slopes than other resorts I’ve been to and the apres was quiet. This is a great resort for families or those with young kids. If you want a livelier nightlife and apres scene this isn’t the place for you. But it’s well situated so you can get around the three valleys pretty easily and can get there using blue runs if you’re not confident running reds yet

Booked with Heidi - last two years. Les Menuires offers greta value accommodation, many ski in and out.
Apres not excellent but good enough and plenty of amenities on hand.
on the three vallies so access to Meribel and clutched easy and Val Thorens with the Folies is up the hill from Les Menuires so accessible in the valley.
plan on returning again in 2027!!

Les menuires has massively gone up in my expectations - it’s perfectly positioned to get to all parts of the 3 valleys, and has plenty to offer.
Easy ski down from Folie Douce, and roc7 make it perfect for those apres ski lovers, and close proximity to point de la masse makes for some excellent closeby skiing!

Les Menuires was a great base for exploring the Three Valleys. The variety of runs is incredible and you can ski somewhere new every day. It was also surprisingly quiet for mid March which made getting around the lifts really easy. The only downside was the food, most restaurants felt quite similar so there wasn’t loads of variety. Overall though the skiing more than makes up for it

Great for families, we were 3 adults and 4 children (two complete beginners) good snow coverage and runs open despite very warm whether. Lots of nice blues for the children. It was very quiet when we went and we didn’t really have to wait for a lift all week! Will defiantly go back
