very busy at any time. great if you like the social part of winter sports, but not so great if you prefer quiet slopes. really good facilities and plenty of runs for beginners, unless you have a nervous beginner - where the busy-ness might worry them a little. very good value for money as an intermediate as you have access to a big range with your ski pass.

Was a great trip- lovely food, great slopes, easy to navigate, great atmosphere in the town with lots of nice shops too

Skied Les Gets and most other areas that make up the Portes du Soleil. Plenty of snow, well groomed piste and great off piste. No crowds in January and some great mountain cafes.

Les Gets is a great family resort with lots of piste options for beginners and intermediates. Circa 1 hour 15 mins transfer time from Geneva with a private transfer makes it a great option for families. We have been in the first week of January for the last 3 years and always had snow and found the piste was not overcrowded with no queues for the lifts.
The resort has a rustic French feel with plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Went very close to the end of season. Still plenty of snow and almost all runs were open. It was very quiet which made it a joy to ski. Only thing to watch out for is some mountain restaurants had started to shut for the season.

Brilliant family friendly resort with lots of accommodation and dining out options. Lifts are mostly new and efficient! Lots of beginner blue and red runs but minima off piest skiing.

We stayed in a hotel close to the main gondola, we had onsite rental within the hotel Madwax; this was such a nice perk. Food is amazing the locals recommended food spots each night the best so far is les boomerang. Hot tip there is lockers below the gondola, each day we left our stuff there and walked the 3 minutes back to the hotel. Best spot we have been so far and I have snowboarded for 13 years

I really loved Les Gets as a destination for my first ski trip! I learned how to ski from a great instructor and really overcame any fears I had in the first instance. It was a great place for families, couples, and friends! It was beginner friendly, but also had some excellent Red and Black slopes for more advanced skiers on the trip.

Les Gets was the perfect location for a long weekend. Just over an hour from
Geneva, we were close to the slopes and our from first to last lift. Amazing, quiet slopes allowing you to ski over & experience the buzz of Avoriaz, before returning to peaceful, tree lined bliss.

perfect short break ski trip. short transfer from geneva airport.
loads of restaurants to choose from but make sure to book evening table. ski to morzine for day out there aswell

Really good resort for honing in on your technique. Great blue and green runs, but enough reds to keep adrenaline up, and if you want more you can head over to Avoriaz for the real leg-burners.

Great village and variety of shops and restaurants.

I went with a group of friends and had one of the best holidays skiing. Apres ski so much fun, accommodation perfect for us, eating out or eating in was great fun. We loved the karaoke in a local bar. Everyone was so friendly in resort.

Great choice of slopes, ranging from beginner to advanced. Easy access to other resorts such as Morzine and depending on your experience can visit Avoriaz and back in a day (if holding the correct ski pass). Free land train takes you to the other side of the village so you can explore Mont Chéry.
Very family friendly with plenty to do for non skiers too!
Less of a party resort but great food and bar options to suit budgets and personal preferences.

Great ski area with access to portes de soleil. Would recommend getting up for first lift to avoid the ski school rush at the base of the piste. Good variation with nice wide slopes and tree runs. Well signposted and easy to navigate around. Definitely one of the cheaper ski resorts for shopping and eating out.

Snowed every day we were there all week - snow was incredible.

First time visiting les gets as a mixed ability group - ranging from beginner to experienced skiers. Perfect time of year to visit: plenty snow, quiet slopes, no lift queues, sun shining.
We even had a baby with us and was easy to spend time in the village or come up to the mountains on gondola so whole family could spend time together.
