What Skiers Say About Les Arcs
Les Arcs attracts a wide range of skiers and snowboarders, from beginners to experts, with intermediate skiers being particularly well-served. Reviewers consistently mention the vast ski area, especially when linked with La Plagne via the Paradiski pass, offering extensive terrain that prevents boredom over a week. The lift system is generally praised for efficiency and minimal queuing, though some mention increased crowds in recent years due to new all-inclusive hotels. Après-ski receives positive feedback, particularly venues like Folie Douce and L'Arpette in Arc 1800. Several users note good value compared to other French resorts, convenient access via funicular from Bourg-St-Maurice, and reliable snow conditions due to altitude. Common criticisms include limited nightlife and restaurant options in some villages (particularly Arc 2000), crowded narrow sections on certain runs, and an abundance of flat connecting tracks that frustrate snowboarders.

With many options of places to stay, best slopes for all levels, Nice restaurants, perfect Place to Go.
You are spoilt for choice with the skiing, so many different pistes over such a large area. Loved the day trip to explore La Plagne, working out which lifts to use to get there and back.
For something different, head for the snow cross tracks, so much fun. Not a fan of jumps so avoided the snow park but was jealous of those brave enough to have fun on the park. Would have loved the chance to ski down from Aguile Rouge, but on both holidays it was always closed due to strong winds etc.
On the whole it’s a fantastic resort that will appeal to all levels of ability and would definitely return again.
On the whole, a cracking resort to
Restaraunts, bars and shops close kind of early so no later night options.
Recommend Arc 1800 for younger adults with apres ski and party vibe. Great access with gondola to top of mountain and able to ski to the other resorts and fields.
People great. Snow in april was standard but still lots of it. Food great. Village arc 1950 loads of fun kids out on sledges all night. Loved it.
Lift system is good, reliable and safe. .
Resort was friendly (I was on my own), decent food options at good prices and lots of grocery options.
Scenery was absolutely stunning, beautiful mountain ranges and excellent lift systems, never queued even at peak times.
