Amazing place for families. Great slopes. Not to crazy with advanced skiing. Great for kids. Lots of places to eat on and off the slope. Great prices for food.

Absolutely love Les Arcs, 4th time visiting (including a full season). Top hack is to get out early towards Valandry to enter the Trans Arc lift at stop 2 to avoid the early morning queues. Has really long runs, with plenty of blues and red if you’re travelling with a group of mixed abilities.

If you find any extra pennies down the sofa, treat yourself and family to a cabin with chalet staff.
Find the lockers for decent snow boots. Walking with your ski boots loose, is not pleasant.

We stopped in Les Arcs for some of our holiday. The cable across from La PLagne drops you off at the base of some fantastic blue and red runs through the trees. The lifts wear easy to get on and off. We took routes across the piste to get to La Folie Douce, its worth the visit !! Beers a bit spenny but the vibes were high. Lift back up to the top of the glacier, red runs back across and down to the cable to go back. Awesome resort.

Really enjoyed les arcs / paradiski. Quite varied terrain, good for better skiers, we went to family who had not skied before, and they were stuck to a few slopes. Lots of good blues reds and blacks. Good itinerary routes in La plange also

We stayed in Arc 2000 first full week of January 2026. There had been no snow for around 3 weeks but the slopes were in very good condition and skiing was excellent. There were one or two closed runs but the area is so big, it didn’t matter too much. We didn’t see the need to get the Paradiski pass as there’s plenty of skiing in Les arcs and the queues were minimal that week. There aren’t a huge amount of shopping or restaurant options in Arc 2000, but this didn’t bother us too much.

Great base, lots of varied runs. Stayed at aiguille rouge hotel. Basic rooms but great staff, eve entertainment and food. Loved the new trans arc lift from Les arc1800and the indoor picnic area and crystal museum at it's mid station. Had very little queuing. Liked the option on lift pass of paying extra to use fast track queue lane but due to quieter slopes didn't really make most of it. Skied over to la plagne one day but felt slopes better in Les arcs on this occasion.
Several lifts over to next valley 1600, 1800 and vallandry, all giving a varied sling experience.

Ski in, ski out was a huge bonus for us! Runs were a little busy but think that was as it was early in the year. Snow park was good fun for all the family. Runs were wide in places which was helpful for our beginners in the group too.

Great resort, really easy access to the slopes from your door, especially at Arc 1950/2000. Also access to La Plagne is amazing and highly recommend going over for a day or more.

It was my second ever time skiing but first time in France. I was amazed by the views and the fresh air.
Ski school booked to refresh my skill, I went with the blue school as they speak english and they were helpful all the way.

I could get around in English everywhere which was very helfpul too.

As a beginner I did not experience many of the lanes but was in generally happy with the ones I tried.

Stayed in 1800 in Edenarc, Le Chantel. Three double bedrooms with ensuite to main and family bathroom. Big living, dining and kitchen area with large balcony facing west. Indoor/outdoor swimming pool linked to apartments with sauna and steam rooms. Heated boot driers in basement lockers which open out onto the piste, plus Precision ski directly linked to property. Small supermarket also attached with bars and restaurants adjacent too. Chantel, Carreley and Vagere chairlifts 50-300m away. Also small telecasting down into main 1800 resort.
From Le Chantel you can ski to anywhere in the Les Arcs, Vallandry and Plan Peissey ski area. Also, link to Vanoise Express over to La Plange. Something for everyone regardless of ski or snowboard ability.

My favourite ski resort.
Soon after arriving the funicular railway whisks you up to all the accommodation levels of the resort.
The ski-ing is amazing with the link to the La Plagne ski area and beyond.
An amazing centre for most age groups, but especially the adventurous types who also love to party afterwards.
