What Skiers Say About St. Anton am Arlberg

St. Anton attracts predominantly advanced and expert skiers, with multiple reviewers noting it is not well-suited for beginners due to steep terrain and limited easy runs. The après-ski scene, particularly venues like Mooserwirt and Krazy Kangaroo, is the most consistently praised aspect across reviews. The ski area is described as vast and well-connected to Lech and Zürs, with well-groomed pistes and modern lift infrastructure. Reviewers frequently mention high prices for accommodation, food, and general expenses. Several users note that late-season or low-snow conditions lead to icy slopes and challenging conditions on lower-altitude runs, particularly the home run into town.

Ive been to St Anton on holiday and also done a ski season out there. With the lifts and infrastructure you can cover a lot of ground in a day and ski a real mixture of runs.
Its great for mixed ability, half terms are always very busy so I would avoid going at this time.
Some lovely long blue runs such as blue 100 for beginners to intermediates.
The apres is the best Ive experienced! Live music at Keller Bar is always a fun night and apres on the mountains at Krazy Kanguruh is next level!
Lovely spots on the mountain for food but also towards the end of the season take a picnic with you and there are some lovely picnic spots with incredible views, especially towards St Christoph! Cant wait to go back.

Would fully recommend to anyone looking to Ski.
While the apres scene and restaurant choices are amazing its a fairly small resort for those not skiing.
A short trip from the airports (in comparison to others in the Alps) and plenty of slopes to explore. Would advise more experienced skiers over those on their first trip

Highlight would be the apres and nightlife scene!

Amazing resort with a wide expanse of runs for all levels of rider, nice freestyle park but was lacking some intermediate features. All slopes were nicely groomed and the off piste was nice at the top but was lacking snow near the bottom when I went.

Amazing après ski and dinner options a personal favourite is the Krazy kangaroo.

The ski arlberg shops had friendly staff and a wide selection of gear to rent / buy

Plenty of runs available and the town itself is nice, they have a huge spa in town that's nice to visit. Apres was touted as the best in Europe, it was good but France is much better in my opinion.

All in all a great resort for skiers and boarders of all abilities. Expansive groomed terrain, some decent mogul fields, and although I didn't use the myself, some great looking terrain parks.

As you might expect from an Austrian resort, the lift system is wonderfully efficient, with few queues to be found anywhere.

The resort town itself was excellent with good accommodation, food, and apres options, again something to suit every tastes, from families to party animals.

Always a good time in St Anton. There are some great expeditions along the valleys to Lech, Warth etc. but also lots to explore locally. Big fan of Rendl. I didn't understand the appeal of apres until I came here - it's another level! I'm Krazy Kanguruh over Mooserwirt but both are awesome.
