First time visiting Soll in January 2026, we stayed for 5 nights and were not disappointed.
Benefitted from a good few snow dumps before our trip, and while we were there the weather was glorious, meaning the views were stunning.
Well groomed and maintained on-piste, lifts were efficient and not overly crowded, plenty of choice for food and drink and the entertainment was good too. All round a great trip.

Too many long flat spots for boarders. Blues were reds and most reds were blacks for an average person.

Really enjoyed Soll for a relaxing holiday. The Ski Welt was good but some of the slopes seemed harder than their grading. Quite a quiet little town so not a lot going on but I was usually too tired to be out anyway after a day skiing.

Great resort, friendly staff in bars on and off the mountains. Lift workers were excellent and friendly. Was warm so the pistes were getting slushy at the end of the day but still excellent after being groomed

Big ski area with plenty of runs, not the highest so snow was lacking in parts but you just head somewhere else. Food on mountain was plentiful and decent value actually. Pistes were well groomed and mid week quiet enough. Night skiing was really good too

Skiwelt is huge, with several great areas, and plenty of runs covering all levels. If the snow is good, lots of fun off piste and tree runs, especially over Westendorf way. If the snow isn't so great, the snow canon infrastructure is great, so still have a great time.

Aprés is awesome, with umbrella bars and German Shlager music scattered around. Much less pretentious than France, and lots of delicious schnitzels and strudel.

Lovely resort, huge ski area with runs linking 6 or 7 resorts in the ski welt area so you can really explore. No queues for lifts, plenty of food and drink options. Apres scene fairly quiet but some nice bars for a post ski drink. Third time there and would go back!

Would definitely return, great choice of runs from the main gondola with the option to board/ski to neighbouring towns and get the bus back if skiing/boarding back isn’t an option after a long day. There are even taxi services available with the local guest card that I was not aware of until after a stunning walk from Ellmau to Söll as I missed the last lunch time bus.

One of the biggest linked ski areas available in Austria covering 280km from soll, to going including scheffau, ellmau, brixen, westendorf, Have been going there for nearly 20 years and still havent skied it all.
Apres ski is lively and theres plenty of mountain restaurants/huts to choose from whilst skiing during the day.
Suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers alike.
Night skiing is also an option together with a toboggan run which also makes use of floodlights.
Snow fall is good from late December through to mid to late march,
And there are plenty of snow cannons to keep the snow depths topped up.
