Had a great week in Andorra ! Snowed everyday which was incredible! We went with a couple beginners so was a chill morning each time then smashing it in the free ride sections,
The local community were really friendly and we had some good food in the local cafe at the bottom of our hotel, some good clothing stores too.
Absolutely loved Andorra ! Great views and just good travel time. Chairlifts were always clean and free of ice to make it safer for everyone. Would recommend to anyone

Conditions were great at the time of year I visited. Lots of space on the slopes and well groomed each day. Access to a wide range of different runs. Would go again

Solden offers the perfect balance of groomed runs and off piste with Glacier skiing availability. It can be a family destination with excellent child facilities and ski school, or a kick ass venue for group ski holiday with aprez ski that can run into a night out partying.

i went for me first ever ski trip and i’d happily go back again every year. the snow/weather conditions were perfect and the resort had great slopes as i was learning to ski.

Solden was absolutely incredible! So much so that we are already planning our annual ski trip there again next year. Incredible place that I would 100% recommend and visit again!

Rather small resort but very nice village. Not an overly large ski area, most runs coming into resort are red.

Fantastic resort. The World Cup run is a must for speedsters. The 13km run from top to bottom is great for skiers, probably less fun on a board. Eating on the mountain is not as cheap as it used to be, 3 adults it was generally about 50 euros for a soup and a drink each. The Elements attraction is a great addition on your ski pass and worth doing.

Well groomed slopes and very clear due to wide nice area in most of the runs. Variation in length and steepness was also very good. Waiting time in ski lift could in some cases be more efficient, but overall very satisfied

Great organization and astonishing friendly personnel.
Modern lifts and renewing the older ones.
Very good food, and on top of that the ICE Q and the 007 Elements are really worth the price!

Great runs, so many to choose from, amazing resort - would definitely come back. Mountain restaurants are great too.

A great resort ,got the bus to the gurgls well worth a 20 min bus trip, the 007 experience was really good also the motor bike museum in the gurgls is well worth a visit , can’t wait to revisit

We stayed in hotel berglund which had an amazing spa and everything you need with it's on sport 2000 shop to make hire and buying boots super easy. The apre is off the scale. Panorama bar goes off, and on Friday afternoon there is a full on rave at the giggijoch. Has the elements bar where 007 was filmed and on a sunny day the views are breathtaking. It's not the cheapest but it's a very fun resort with the glacier, lots of tree runs and a bit of everything. Not the best for beginners however.

Very good very fun have been multiple times, great slopes good altitude. Wide peistes, good lifts some with warming seats

Solden is a great combination of terrain and services. The runs are gorgeous and there are plenty of restaurants to satisfy most appetites. There are also plenty of areas for families with children learning how to ski. Overall it's close to being perfect.

Great place for skiing and night life. Buzzing sore ski and well kept ski slopes. Cafes on the slopes are also great.

Unreal Apres, especially Panorama ALM.

The glacier skiing was great in the early morning. Food a little pricey but seems to be the way everywhere now.

Loved the mountains - lots of choice and vibes taking in the whole resoty of Oztal including the Gurgls
Good transport links between them all and buses
Accommodation is decent but, as per mountains, expensive
Apres ski was mixed. We found a couple of bars we loved but the more energetic ones were tricky to reach unless you're prepared to do a long run at the end of a day. No live music except in one bar which advertised it often but delivered inconsistently.

I visited Sölden in early January 2026 and it turned out to be one of the best ski trips I’ve done in a long time. The resort has a great balance of reliable snow, loads of terrain, and a really fun atmosphere, which made it ideal for both full days on the mountain and good evenings afterwards.

The first thing that stood out was just how much skiing there is. You can easily spend the whole day exploring without repeating the same runs. The glacier areas higher up mean the snow coverage is really dependable, especially at that time of year, and the conditions were excellent while we were there. The lifts are modern and quick too, so you’re not wasting half the day queueing — you’re actually skiing.

The pistes themselves are wide and well groomed, which makes it great for cruising and building up confidence, but there’s still enough challenge to keep things interesting. There’s a good mix of blues and reds for covering distance, and some steeper sections when you want to push yourself. It’s one of those resorts where you feel like you’ve properly skied by the end of the day because you’ve managed so many long runs.

The town has a really good feel to it as well. Everyone we met, from locals to bar staff to lift operators, was friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference when you’re away for a week. It feels lively without being overwhelming, and everything is easy to walk to.

Après ski is where Sölden really shines. The atmosphere kicks off straight after the lifts close and carries on well into the evening. There are loads of bars on the mountain and back in town, and it’s got that classic Austrian party vibe that makes the whole trip more social and memorable. The apres ski is fantastic and definitely a big part of what makes the place special.

Overall, I’d say Sölden is a great all-round resort. Excellent skiing, very friendly locals, huge amount of skiing to be done and the apres ski is fantastic. For an early January trip, it ticks all the boxes and I’d happily go back again.

Friendly atmosphere, long, wide runs, very high areas, easy skiing, relaxing resort, nice swimming pool in the town!
