Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn Review Summary

Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn attracts primarily intermediate to advanced skiers and some experts, with multiple users noting the extensive, well-connected ski area and modern lift infrastructure. The resort is consistently praised for efficient lifts with heated seats, well-groomed pistes, and lively après-ski atmosphere. Reviewers repeatedly mention the large ski area with good variety of runs, excellent mountain restaurants, and friendly locals. Common criticisms centre on lower altitude leading to poor snow conditions in late season or warm weather, with afternoon slush frequently mentioned. A large off-piste area, sadly temp was 15 degrees at top of the mountain first week in March!
Resort worked very hard to keep all runs open to the valley. Great conditions on piste at the top of the mountain on shaded runs, but inevitably very slushy on the lower runs in the afternoon.
Lifts open at 08:00, which is good with temps this high.

Skied Saalbach-Hinterglemm in eaely March after 10days without snow and their warmestt weekend with temperature up to 16degrees,...yet had great holiday as almost every run kept open with immaculate grooming and snowmaking. Top north facers with 1000m fall were still great long runs and with mid week cooling and snow by end of week skied all round the many different mountains. Plenty of mileage, lots of valley tree runs and beautiful views and abundent excellent mountain restaurants at every turn. Austrian food, service and gemutlichkeit really makes for a great day on the hill and fun memories. Some blacks scattered about but none too hard or dramatic for those seeking the adrenalin. Looks like off piste could be good ..but not the conditions until heavy fall night we left. Just have to go back again I guess...and that feels like a pleasure to lool forward to.

Large ski domain with great lift infrastructure. Saalbach is also connected to Zell am See.
We spent 3 days and enjoyed the variety of slopes.
The highest point is around 2,000m, so snow conditions might be challenging during shoulder periods. However, snow cannons covers almost the entire domain.
Very good atmosphere, in Saalbach more vivid and young while Hinterglemm has more fines.

The pistes are great, wide and so much fun for carving. They are well connected and we skied 25 to 30 Km a day without repeating pistes.

The lift system is modern, fast and comfortable.

The apres is varied and you will easily find load and quiet, whatever your taste.

Great resort, big enough to have everything you may want but still has the traditional Austrian feel and atmosphere. Great skiing, quite high but can struggle at the end of the season.

Great resort, although last few years in Feb ski conditions have suffered with lack of snow and becoming difficult to ski in the afternoons. Pick your dates and not school holidays.

Staying in Fieberbrunn, very queit village they host a Ski Symphonie on tuesday nights which was really good to watch. Disappointed with the Apreski in Fieberbrunn as there seems to be no hype or bounce to it in comparison to other Austrian Resorts.

Some nice blue runs to give confidence and then harder blue runs to test us. Our friends had plenty of options of harder reds and black runs so it suited all of our parties abilities. Our ski instructor was excellent and the resort was lovely. Pedestrianised village and some good Apres Ski bars with good atmosphere.
