Loads of ski areas to visit and the lift service is great. The run are particularly long and some of the queues were massive during busy periods. Not a place I'd go back to.

Got slightly unlucky with warm weather so no off piste snow but pistes groomed to perfection every night and good snow up at kitstienhorn glacier included in the ski circus pass was great also the après was superb much better than most resorts except morzine

We stayed in Vaya fieberbrunn which was brilliant, couldn’t get better, food was great, spa open from 7-9 everyday and brilliant service and rooms. Saalbach area was good, we got lucky with the snow as it had a little dump whilst we where there which gave us access to some good off piste. Lower end of pistes let it down as it got slushy but that’s to expect in late season. Lots of nice bars on slopes. The only inconvenience was the Tirol 1 and Tirol 2 lift. It’s the link lift that connects fieberbrunn to hinterglemm. It’s shuts at 3:30 which is quite early considering it’s the only option back unless you get a bus which is not ideal. If you plan on doing the Saalbach loop, get on the first lift at 8 in morning if you want a nice lunch.

I stayed in Vaya fieberbrunn, got lucky with snow, had a nice little dump that gave us access to some good off piste but none of it was overly challenging. Pistes where very good but again the snow was just letting it down a bit but that’s to expect at end of season. Brilliant hotel, couldn’t get better. Lifts were all very new with heated seats etc. the only lift that was awkward was the Tirol 1 and Tirol 2. It shuts at 3.30 which is quite early considering it’s the link lift to and throw fieberbrunn and Hinterglemm meaning it made it hard and rushed to do the loop of saalbach.

Great range of slopes, from wide pistes to narrow tracks through the trees. Plenty of bars located on slopes, some with fantastic panaramic sun terraces. Resorts very tidy with excellent facilities, atmosphere and superb lift/transport system. Would love to go back !

This was my groups fourth trip to Saalbach. We have stayed in a few different hotels. We are a group of mixed level skiers and boarders. The resort never fails to provide everything we need for an enjoyable trip.

Hinterglemm is a great ski town, plenty of bars and restaurants and great apres ski atmosphere. The ski circus is a huge area with a very efficient lift system. We rarely had to queue, lifts are fast and big!
Great snow conditions with pistes maintained to a high standard.

Great lift facilities compared to what I experienced in France and Italy. The mountain huts were also super charming and the food was tasty.

Very large ski area, all lifts are well linked, loads of mountain restaurants, you don't have to ski the same run all week.

Saalbach had the most piste options that were relatively close together. To go on a different gondola you sometimes had to walk 100m but it was doable. Having so much variety was great, the views were incredible, lots of food spots across the mountain too

It was quite icy, runs were a little busy after 10:30 but nice chairlifts with quite a few heated ones. Potentially we just came at a time with very little snow. There was a nice variety of runs, wide ones lots of catwalks and a lot of red and blue runs but only a couple black ones.

Loved the apres here at the bottom of the slopes! Just a shame the lifts weren’t open longer to have a few drinks at top of mountain (without having to ski down). Huge area to ski with a range of slops. So many different places to eat. Probably one of my favourite places I’ve been skiing

We stayed in Hinterglemm, which was pretty central to the rest of the ski area and had no trouble getting around. Buses could have been more frequent but other than that it was quiet and easy to get around. Great food and drink pretty much everywhere we went! And compares very favourably in my opinion to some of the more famous resorts.
Only trouble was, being lower and further east than most of the Alps, the snow reflected that and I was not envious of those visiting after us - it was getting warmer and cover was pretty thin. Hence not many of the ‘purple’ fun parks/trails were open at all as the (impressive) snow canons were concentrated on the main pistes. We had a brilliant week and would go back, but hope for better conditions!

Some nice slopes, very busy Saalbach side and very quiet Fieberbrunn side. Lifts were great, we were never waiting more than 5 mins
