Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn Review Summary

Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn attracts primarily intermediate to advanced skiers and some experts, with multiple users noting the extensive, well-connected ski area and modern lift infrastructure. The resort is consistently praised for efficient lifts with heated seats, well-groomed pistes, and lively après-ski atmosphere. Reviewers repeatedly mention the large ski area with good variety of runs, excellent mountain restaurants, and friendly locals. Common criticisms centre on lower altitude leading to poor snow conditions in late season or warm weather, with afternoon slush frequently mentioned. Lift system excellent and not busy. Snow good at upper levels. Grooming hit and miss. Lumpy in the afternoon. Great for families. Stayed in Fieberbrunn which is small and quiet. Mountain bars busy at peak times but good food and vibe.

Visited Saalbach for the first time, and it was incredible! It’s very different to places like Tignes. Pretty scenery, lots of trees. Very cute alpine feel and buildings. Cosy, cute! Great runs, and they did wonders with the snow machines on lower ski levels where it was pretty warm and end of season!

Overall, a decent resort. Good pistes and great accessibility between different parts of the resort.
It is located at a lower altitude so not always snow-sure in March (the afternoons come with very heavy wet snow), but can imagine that during January/February you can get some great skiing all day.

Town has everything you need within a walkable distance. Decent apres, though the resort is more family-oriented.

Have spent 2 seasons in Saalbach. Ski lift system is fast and efficient, even lots of heated seats and most have covers for when weather gets heavy. Peak times getting out of town can get bit crowded but never too long a wait. Piste management is incredible if not much snowfall and on sunny days can get heavy in afternoon. All in all great modern resort with fantastic food on piste and plenty of apres ski to be had.

Probably the best all round piste ski resort in Austria , lift and snow making is probably the best in Europe. Apres ski to almost rival St Anton but without the price tag

Lots of skiing but slushy on lower slopes and in the lower areas. Great places to eat on and off slopes. Good places to stay at all levels and incredibly efficient and reliable bus service between the different ski areas. Bus from Salzburg to Saalbach and other areas, remarkably cheap. Very friendly people!

Spent a week in Hinterglemm with the family. As always, lifts were excellent with no queues to be seen. Weather was a mixed bag but pistes were kept in excellent condition and there was some decent offpiste on the higher north facing slopes.

Lovely resort. Really pretty and lots of nice shops, bars and Restaurants. Bring gas with you as some places don't take cards.
Huge skiing area with a very efficient lift system. Everyone really friendly and helpful.
Even though there hadn't been much snow the man made snow kept the majority of runs open.
