Great mountain. Smaller but quiet, just the way I like it. Highly recommend especially for families looking to get away. The tubing is fun as well.

They really are not kidding when they say Apex has a reputation for being a super steep and advanced mountain. There is a main green run that goes through but even then there is a point where it gets a little too steep to be fully considered green. Anybody past the beginner stage will get a nice challenge on Apex. I went on a Monday so there was basically nobody else in line for the chairlift.

We traveled to Apex in early January and unfortunately the lack of snow in BC has hit them hard as well. Luckily they do a great job grooming so the 'cruisers' are nice to ski, but there was no real tree skiing or off-piste. Accomodations are good and vary, good offering for 2 people or a full family vaca. There isn't much for dinning out or après ski (only 1 place really), but it is a good family resort on which you don't have to fear loosing your kids off the back side!

I think this ski resort is great for a beginners level, especially if you’re learning, you can choose whatever difficulty you prefer.

Apex is a hidden gem ! The mountain itself isn’t very big , there’s only two chairs , but don’t let that deceive you. The runs may not be long but with a good snow , it turns from “ scrapex “ into the most fun steep and deep terrain. The tree runs are a little tight but do a great job of filtering people from entering and guarding the pow. Besides the mountain and runs , the village and community or family makes the mountain feel that much more special. Between the locals throwing the best parties , or the events at the gunbarrel , there’s always something going on ! The mountain is only ~40 minutes outside of Penticton so it’s absolutely wortj the drive up. They offer more than just skiing / snowboarding too ! The Nordic centre ( cross country / snowshoeing ) is just past the village , there’s a skating rink and loop as well as a tube park and on weekends night skiing is available as well ! Apex is often used as training grounds for many international professional teams , so come check it out for yourself !

Apex is a great ski hill. So close to Penticton, that you don't have to drive forever to get to the hill. The trails are always well groomed and maintained. The snow is amazing first thing in the morning, with the powder. It also has a skating loop, which is great for other family members that don't ski but would like to visit the hill. Highly recommend Apex.

Amazing family resort. One of the best Ski in ski out villages in Canada for ease of access to lifts. Quiet setting with the friendliest locals Ive ever met. Expert skiing in the back bowl both on powder days and in the sun.

Apex is a small ski resort overall. It wins with their quiet runs, no lines in the lifts and amazing staff working there to cheer up your day. I totally recomend it if you have experience in the slopes and want to skip the busy lines. The little village is very homie with really good meal prices.

It is a small but great mountain with interesting terrains. It is great for families, with only 2 chairlift, so easy to meet up if the group split. The little western village at the bottom of the hill is adorable. Kids loved to end their day at the saloon for a hot chocolate and wings.

Great family friendly hill! Not very busy even between Christmas and NewYear's which is a peak time. Super friendly staff and lovely snow conditions as the Okanagan of BC is known for light fluffy snow!

Rode alongside the ski patrol for a day here. The names all pertaining to cowboy westerns on the one piste are some of the most wild glades runs Ive ridden in B.C.The groomers are also fun and uniquely shaped. Generally very steep and a challenge for anyone looking to expand their skills. Drive is a bit of a journey in.
