Apex is a great ski hill. So close to Penticton, that you don't have to drive forever to get to the hill. The trails are always well groomed and maintained. The snow is amazing first thing in the morning, with the powder. It also has a skating loop, which is great for other family members that don't ski but would like to visit the hill. Highly recommend Apex.

Amazing family resort. One of the best Ski in ski out villages in Canada for ease of access to lifts. Quiet setting with the friendliest locals Ive ever met. Expert skiing in the back bowl both on powder days and in the sun.

Apex is a small ski resort overall. It wins with their quiet runs, no lines in the lifts and amazing staff working there to cheer up your day. I totally recomend it if you have experience in the slopes and want to skip the busy lines. The little village is very homie with really good meal prices.

It is a small but great mountain with interesting terrains. It is great for families, with only 2 chairlift, so easy to meet up if the group split. The little western village at the bottom of the hill is adorable. Kids loved to end their day at the saloon for a hot chocolate and wings.

Great family friendly hill! Not very busy even between Christmas and NewYear's which is a peak time. Super friendly staff and lovely snow conditions as the Okanagan of BC is known for light fluffy snow!

Rode alongside the ski patrol for a day here. The names all pertaining to cowboy westerns on the one piste are some of the most wild glades runs Ive ridden in B.C.The groomers are also fun and uniquely shaped. Generally very steep and a challenge for anyone looking to expand their skills. Drive is a bit of a journey in.

Great friendly mountain. Terrain options have something for everyone. If you avoid December 25-January 1st lift lines are minimal. The quad chair is efficient enough but the triple chair is slow. The Edge Bistro has great eats and great staff as does the Gunbarrel for Apres Ski. Many nights have live music. The skating loop through the trees is magical but its a real shame they got rid of the ice rick and replaced it with an inferior one in an inferior location. The village doesnt have a ton going on like bigger hills might but does have most of what youd need at the general store or ski shop. Safe family mountain.

Apex is a great locals spot. The village offers few amenities but has most things needed to make for a good weekend experience. Not too many people on the same runs even on weekends which is always nice.

I enjoyed the variety of varied terrain and as a solo skier felt safe the entire time. Lifts were well managed. The ski in and ski out was nice! The quality of the snow was incredible as well. This is an underrated mountain and I will definitely come back! There is also lots to do for families - my non skier friends did the skating loop and loved it.

The lift lines are very small. You can ski a run and go direcrly back on the lift. If there is a line it clears right away. Has a good selection of runs l. Terrain for all abilities. Apex is a small mountain hidden gem. Has great light champagne powder. The runs are not supper long. But if your going hard you don't get the leg burn right away.

New ownership over the past few years has turned a great community oriented hill into a place that no longer caters to the community it is in and is only focused on money coming from out of town guests. Us locals are being forgotten by Apex.
