Apex is not a beginner Mountain so to speak. If you like it steep then you are going to have fun. Line ups are minimal for the most part. One of the last old school adventures without the commercialized bull. Please dont tell anyone.lol

The runs are friendly yet challenging. Restaurant is great. Night ski times are good and fun as well. Side runs are exciting and fun to explore the whole park flows quite well.

Apex is sweet little hill 45 min drive away from penticton in the okanogan, beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Has 2 chairs magic carpet for an awesome ski school, and a tee bar. The terrian park is deecent great for beginners. Lots of options from small to semi large features. Great people and better food. The ski hill has many runs, forms greens to blacks. Be careful of exposed rock early on in the season before the new year. This hill has everything for anybody.

A hidden gem that delivers. Id call it like a small Revelstoke if you know where to go. Lifts are almost always quiet and there is some fun slackcountry as well.

Amazing tree riding with banger snow. Almost no lift lines and a great vibe. It's a smaller resort so 1 lift gets you to the summit. Super steep tree lines and very little traffic. I ski'd into my own lines 7 days earlier. If your knees can handle it you can do more quality laps here than almost anywhere.

Quiet little resort with essentially only one lift for experts. The main lift to the top offers varied terrain with steeps, groomers, massive bumps and powder stashes that seem to last awhile after a dump. Low key place where the vibe is about skiing! The Edge coffee shop has amazing lunches and a ski thru outdoor ordering window so you can chug a coffee on the lift! The Gunbarrel Saloon is a great apres bar with good food and a decent selection of cold beer! (And other drinks) Mid week there is a very distinct lack of people and the only lineups you will encounter is the odd Saturday morning or a busy holiday. Even then it's less than 4 minutes tops but it's very rare! Great learning area with a magic carpet and a fixed grip triple with awesome intermediate terrain and a safe place to explore for all levels.

Apex has some of the most insane terrain Ive seen at what is considered a smaller ski area. I found an solid blend of open groomers and very steep, technically challenging terrain. I have been twice and both times there have been minimal liftlines. Staff are very friendly. We met a few locals who are very proud of their mountain, and were glad to share and recommend some runs. Theres not much shop-wise in the village but there are a few cute places for food/drinks, and on-hill accommodations for reasonable prices.

This resort makes you feel like family. Line ups are short and lifties are always smiling. Plenty of places to rent at the resort or hotels only 30 min away. Mountain shop has excellent service and a great range of demo equipment. The ski patrol is also amazing at what they do! Womens day and Adopt an instructor are both excellent options to elevate the fun of being on the hills for the young and not so young. Actually forget everything I saidits awful

Really cute hill and a good vibe. Only been a few times and one in the spring and can say during spring riding it is only ok. Only a few good groomed runs that get old pretty quickly. But on a fresh powder day all the off piste runs are incredible. A lot of steep runs and chutes to choose from. Will return on a pow day
