What Skiers Say About Lake Louise
Lake Louise attracts predominantly intermediate to expert skiers and snowboarders who consistently praise the resort's extensive terrain, including back bowls, tree runs, and varied difficulty levels. Reviews frequently mention excellent powder quality, minimal lift queues, spectacular mountain views, and efficient lift systems including recent upgrades. Negative feedback centres on inconsistent snow conditions with runs becoming icy between storms, expensive food and limited dining options, cold temperatures, parking difficulties especially on weekends, and a subdued après-ski atmosphere compared to European resorts. Several users note the resort works well for mixed-ability groups due to its terrain variety.

My favorite is Larch chair, a small traverse and you drop into rock garden a drop through a bowl, zip through the rocks and bumps. Heaven.
Monday- Friday youll have the slopes to yourself.
Spend the weekend wandering in town or pick an adventure like dog sledding or go to the ice hockey... locally or in Calgary.
After 10 trips it never gets old!
Pixking up skis and poles at rentals were quick and very quick and efficient. The now qas plentiful and the runs were well groomed. Staff are very professional and friendly. Great value for the money paid compared to other mega corporation owned hills like Whistler. We'll be back again soon.
Tons of terrain and a new Chair just opened.
