The Skiers' Guide to Lake Louise

Lake Louise deserves its legendary status. The only downsides to the hill is that it gets so many sunny days that it often doesn’t have a ton of powder days or huge snowpack, there’s no BX course, and it’s cold. Other than that, it has everything including every sort of terrain, incredible groomers, perfect dry snow, some of the best views in the world, and top notch spots to eat and drink on the hill like Temple Lodge. Must-visit ski hill in Canada.

One of my favourite hills! The skiing is incredible since it offers great groomed trails but it’s also very easy to get to untouched snow in the back bowls. The food at the resort is also damn good!

Lake Louise ski hill is one of Canada’s largest and most scenic ski resorts. It’s known for its epic views and its family friendly and versatile terrain/layout that boasts an incredibly long ski season (November-May). It’s has over 4200 acres of terrain with 13 lifts and 170 named runs spread across 5 mountains faces. Its Lodge is legendary and skiing Louise is an authentically Canadian experience. 11/10

Quiet slopes, super friendly staff, it’s been a long time since I been to a resort that will help you load your board into the gondola for you! Resort is super well maintained, there’s an ice castle stage where the apres is held which is pretty insane.

Great ski resort and the new lift has helped with crowd control a lot. Definitely recommend going to Louise to anyone visiting Banff

Hit a powder day and had an amazing time! So much terrain here, loved the back bowls definitely a fun mountain with lots to explore.

This is my favourite hill, it’s pretty isolated from bigger town but hotels have restaurants. Love louise

Resorts super fun found it a little icy in the morning but softened up around 12 to 1 lots of lifts and terrain for everyone

Off piste backside is the best! Better for more intermediates and up- the easiest runs may be considered steep by some standards.

Fun resort, very family oriented. Great snow this year, a record for Lake Louise. The runs are pretty wide to give enough space for everyone and the new bubble chair helps warm up between runs.

The mountain is huge, it can accommodate large crowds! Even when the parking lot seems full the mountain wasnt too crowded. 2 new chair lifts in the last few years too!

Had a great time with friends not too busy and lots of runs to try for people of different level tried a few black and blues and had a blast. The greens are easy but busy.

Great place with Lots of terrain. Snow was excellent with runs and boundaries well marked. Lift lines we short and move fast.

Great mountain. Theres so much for everyone, ranging from greens to double blacks. you can spend a full day here and not get through half the park. Staff is generally really helpful/ friendly, it makes the whole experience worth it .

Nice place to ski, have been skiing here my whole life. Always go at least once a season. Nice and close to home to do day visits but going for a weekend is much nicer

Always a great time although there should be options for people who only do a few runs that shouldn't pay full price

It was a stunning experience, best snow I’ve ever had and just a stunning nature.. the only big negative point are the chair lifts- pretty old and slow. Reminds me a bit of the old ones in Europe. Not pretty good especially when it’s that’s cold

Very good terrain, amazing views, lots of run options and huge. Definitely one of the best mountains I’ve been to.
