The slopes were groomed and great! The Banded Peaks apres ski with the DJ was fun. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Great lift system once you are out of the base area, can be congested. Great new terrain to the west of West Bowl, Richardsons Ridge lift accesses some fun pow and easy beginner terrain.

Went to Banff as a group of 8. Many first time riders in North America and it didn’t disappoint. Huge dumps, quiet resort and bluebird days. Apres ski can’t compare with Europe but back in the village it’s lovely at night.

Brilliant snow cover 7.5 metres this year, quiet runs, no queues, billant unpisted areas including an avalanche controlled off piste area complete with ski Patrol. I’ve skied most European resorts and this is far better, however night life and apres ski isn’t great at all in lake Louise. Stay in Banff and take this ski shuttle which is free, it’s a nice town with good restaurants and bars.

With the expansion, skiers and boarders are better distributed and while there are more people, it doesn't feel that busy. I love the new terrain (it adds variety) because I ski here every year about 10-15 days. Lots of terrain to explore if you haven't been. Enough vertical and width to keep things interesting, and it's steep enough to get decent speed. Though something they added ths year was more priority parking, which doesn't reward those who come early (and have been for years--midweek btw). If you don't ski, you can also do some sightseeing and tubing. The snow stays til May, and sometimes you get the best spring skiing.
They have 3 lodges with food options/restaurants, and ample of space if your brought your own lunch.

Absolutely love Lake Louise because of the tree runs and the available powder runs. There's lots of room so you're never bumping into people, and there's a great variety of everything there from intermediate to advanced.

Amazing views; near the famous Fairmont hotel. Hotels provided shuttles which makes things easier. So manny runs to choose from, so even though it’s really busy it does seem like it.

Maybe one of the most beautiful mountains I've ever skied. The views are unmatched everywhere on the mountain. Even the wooden ski lodge is a sight to behold. Great elevation, great groomed runs. Only negative was that they hadn't had snow in a long time but it was still OK.

Love this resort. Always have a great time. Lots of terrain and variety. They just opened a new chair and new terrain and they keep expanding which is great. Sometimes they block off parking for priority and it never fills up and then they open it later which is a bit annoying when you come early to find good parking. Everything else about skiing on this mountain is awesome!

Best off piste skiing in the west!!! This place is amazing right of the summit
Lift and has some of the most accessible steep fun terrain right of the lifts!!!

The resort is huge! Definitely worth the price of the lift ticket. There are lots of areas to explore for every level. Runs are long and spacious. The Larch and back areas are less congested.

Recent developments have greatly improved the lift infrastructure and expanded terrain for all abilities. The new Pipestone chair and West Bowl is huge offering a vast area of terrain from open bowls to perfectly spaced tree skiing with big vertical. Beginners and intermediates have the new lifts as well including the new Richardson’s ridge chair and terrain on the backside of the mountain.

Great resort! Amazing sushi restaurant. Usually not long lines. Sometimes snow ca be an issue but this year it’s been great. Such a fun place!

I've grown up skiing at Lake Louise. As far as skiing the Canadian rockies goes, this mountain is one of the best places to be. There is consistent, more challenging terrain to find on the backside, especially near Paradise and off of the Summit chair. The views are gorgeous and they continue to make an effort to expand (for example with the newest edition of the Richardson's Ridge chair).

Love this resort. Many groomers and tree runs on the sunny front side, but the backside is where it’s at (the snow, that is). The wind keeps it topped up. Everything you need for any skill level.

New chair opened this season on the backside called Richardson. Front side felt pretty packed but the backside didn’t feel too busy even on a long weekend Sunday.

There’s no place quite like lake louise - the runs are long with lots of variations and truly has something for everyone - the mountain is big enough that it never really feels crowded. Love the versatility of terrain and the views :)
