Even if you are staying in Spokane area it is worth it to make the trip to another resort in the area it's not a great mountain because there isn't that many runs but it would likely be great for learners.

I checked out Mount Spokane Ski Resort's terrain park, and it's a blast! The features are well-designed, and there's a good variety for all skill levels. Whether you're into jumps, rails, or boxes, the park has something for everyone. The atmosphere is fun, and it's a great place to dial in your tricks or simply enjoy some freestyle skiing or snowboarding. The chairlifts at Mount Spokane were decent, providing transportation up the slopes. While they got the job done, they were outdated, the waiting times were a bit longer than I would have liked, and the overall ride was somewhat slow. It didn't significantly hinder my experience, but improvements in speed and efficiency would enhance the overall enjoyment of the resort.

I both ski and snowboard and this mountain has treated me very well. The groomed runs always start the day with perfect courdary with runs varying from steep open slopes for carving to wide flats for learners. Terrain is limited for more advanced riders but after a good snow day there are enough tree lines and mogul stashes to keep anyone enterained open to close. In the spring, the terrain park is a park rats dream as it stretched down an entire run with countless features and a varying levels of jumo lines. The staff from almost every deparment is incredibly stoked to share their mountain with you and feed your love of the sport.
