Ive skied sugarbush my whole life, the groomers are great and the trees are even better! Unfortunately the biggest downside is the mountain has been bought up by the Alterra Mountain Company and as a result the apres ski has gotten stale and corporatized. What used to feel like a fun gathering of locals and lovers of the sport now feels empty of that same joy. (Also make sure to bring a credit card! They no longer accept cash at any of the shops and restaurants on the mountain!)

Resort can be busy depending when you go but generally lift lines are moving really quick or nomexistent

Much less crowded than its sister resort Sunday River. Great snowblowing capabilities that keep it open longer than most and I love the cat skiing option when its open! Burnt mountain offers some great skiing that I havent really seen elsewhere. Lifts and lift lines are reasonably fast and orderly. Great variety of terrain and always fun.

Sugarbush Vt has a blend of old and new with legendary run and pure Vermont classics charm.
Light to medium weekend ( other than holidays) allows you to work and ski some of the most varied terrain in New England for sure.
Steeps, trees, bumps and natural terrain are for skiers and riders to endless adventure and explore!

Had an excellent fmaily ski vacation staying in the slope side condos. WE enjoyed fresh powder mid-week with very few other skiers. The food on site was very good and reasonably rpiced. Overall a memorable experience.

Great views, comfortable place to stay just close to the slopes. Good restaurant in town. A lot of different slopes to ski and easy access from Montreal.
We had great time!

Great all around resort. Awesome to swing between the two mountain areas to find a diverse range of terrain. To add to this diversity backcountry availability is great in slidebrook basin. The castle rock peak terrain is some of the most intense in bounds terrain on the east coast. Would recommend a visit.

So many trails at sugarbush feel iconic. Stunning views, great snow for the northeast, and so much charm. Each of the two mountains, Mt. Ellen and Lincoln Peak, offer a full day without having seen everything. Great variety in trails and difficulty of terrain. I learned how to ski here and cant stop myself from coming back every weekend. The food and drink is expensive, but nothing worse than competitors. Ellen feels like more of a locals spot, but still offers nice places for a midday break. The Lincoln courtyard is a highlight especially when the sun is our and the fire pits are going.
