Great hills. Great village. Great breweries. Great places to stay. Lift pass a little steep, but worth it if you make due on the mountain

Went in November for one of the first days it was open and was frankly impressed by the layout and the amount of snow. Although the runs were icy, the trees and glades are wicked with really good technical terrain. By far the best resort in Vermont I’ve been too.

Charming ski town with lots of good restaurants. Upscale for Vermont area. Busy mountain and not much nightlife after 9pm. Could improve apres ski but had a fun weekend overall.

I love the off piste terrain here, the gladed runs are great. The aspect of being able to ski into smugglers notch adds a ton of terrain. Great acres options as well!!

Great early season powder day. The lift lines were very reasonable for such a good day, the riding was incredible and the apres was on point.

Stowe is probably the most complete all-rounder resort in VT. It offers everything for couples, families, single skiers and groups. Luxury hotels, fancy restaurants, casual restaurants and standard economical hotels as well. So much to do even if you don’t ski/snowboard.

Stowe is the highest peak in Vermont. With that being said there are some great steep runs and many options for woods. The best time to go is mid week as you will get a much quieter experience. On weekends lift lines may be 10 minutes long or even longer on holiday weekends. If I am ever looking to get away from crowds I will head over to the Spruce side and take the sensation quad. This lift accesses intermediate/advanced terrain only but is on the beginner side of the mountain. You cant beat the scenic views from the Gondola or the speed of the four runner quad. For food, there are two restaurants seated at the peaks, the Octagon and the Cliff house. If you head over to Spruce side there is a cafeteria as well as more fine dining in the hotel and some smaller places scattered around. My current favorite trail is Nose Dive, a steep wide groomer.

Amazing skiing on the East Coast of America. Stowe is a fabulous resort but a daily lift ticket is very expensive. Best to purchase an Epic day pass in advance in order to reduce the cost.Very welcoming, the staff are friendly and very helpful. Stay in the town of Stowe, fantastic restaurants and coffee houses. About 3 hours from Boston.

Had a great time at Stowe as a beginner transitioning into intermediate. Their green into blue runs are great step up from just doing purely greens. Everyone working there is very nice and friendly. I wish the Tollhouse green run lift was faster as it takes 15+ minutes to get to the top which isnt even the top of the mountain!! Nevertheless would visit Stowe again

Great mountain that offers a cozy feel. Over 100 trails and is a very popular spot for locals and for those from out of town. Can be on the pricey side in regards to lodging and food but is cute area and great to teach first time skiers.

Stowe is a place that used to be great but then vail ownership ruined it. Snowmaking is reduced. Grooming is poor. Patrol seems to barely care to open anything but a blue or green slope. And beer and food prices are astronomical.

Drove down during the weekday from Montreal. Significantly quieter, and free parking during the weekdays! First day there were only ~20 trails open, half were groomed. Then it snowed 5cm overnight and they groomed a bit more and ~30 runs were open. Ive got a season pass, but everything else at the mountain tends to be expensive. But the staff are incredibly helpful especially with advice on gear adjustments!

Stowe is the best ski resort in Vermont in my opinion, especially for skiing in the woods. The regulars know how to ski hard, if gas some great steep terrain for the East, and its doesnt get as many out of control skiers as Killington. The biggest downside is the lift lines and having to pay to park.
