What Skiers Say About Park City

Park City attracts skiers and snowboarders of all abilities, from beginners to experts, with reviewers consistently noting the vast skiable terrain across both Park City and Canyons sides. Many users mention excellent grooming, well-maintained parks, and efficient lift infrastructure, though several reviews reference poor snow conditions during low-snowfall seasons and the impact of ski patrol strikes limiting terrain access. Advanced and expert riders appreciate the tree runs, powder bowls, and technical terrain, while beginners find ample green runs and quality ski school instruction. Common complaints centre on high prices for lift tickets and food, crowded lift lines during peak periods, and Vail's management decisions affecting staffing and operations.

When Vail bought Park city they instituted some stuff that really brought the quality down like mountain safety, super expensive food, and removal of local businesses. Overall it is still a fun resort and the parks are still good, but it isnt as good as it was.

Super condor and thaynes are the best chairs for steep terrain. 9990 and Jupiter are ok but hard for snowboarders due to flat runouts after the steep part. Canyons village has infinite accommodation and some solid restaurants like edge Steakhouse and KITA

This is my first season skiing at Park City. So far I have really loved it. Coming from a background heavily rooted in freestyle park and big mountain skiing, Park City has really delivered. The terrain is super fun and encourages higher levels of skiing. Definitely gets packed with people and can feel like a vacation resort. But if you know where to go, its a great time for all levels of skiing.

the resort is fun and super easy to access but it is super expensive it is about 170 for a day pass and 700 for a season the parking it stupid and unnecessary no need to make a reservation on a monday afternoon in a empty parking lot and get a 150$ ticket !!!! over all mid resort just the closest one to me

This resort is know for being for rich skiers only and weird people. But they are wrong, this resort is 100% worth the price your pay. This big mountain has every groomer and mogul run you can think of. Dont forget the extreme powder once in a while. There is 4 different lodges across the mountain making it easy to get a nice drink or a hot burger. With the ski town vibe this resort will be so much better for the cost instead of taking a 1,000 dollar ski trip to a random country. Theres many greens blues blacks for all levels. You will never feel left out at the Park City ski resort.

Overall, Park City Mountain is a great resort. It offers ski terrain for all abilities and preferences. It is very friend for families and solo skiers/snowboarders. The skiable terrain is very vast, offering many selections and a large number of runs to choose from, which allows for skiers/snowboarders to spread out and avoid having large crowds and heavy congestions in lift lines. There are 2 mountains (Park City and Canyons), adding to the variety of options available. There are also 2 villages which have plenty of shopping and dining options and makes for an enjoyable environment for guests to relax and enjoy after skiing or for those who dont ski/snowboard.
