One of the most upscale and well kept resorts I have ever been to. The staff are friendly and the dining options are much more high-end than your average ski lodge fare.

Deer valley is a skier only luxury resort. Best groomed runs in the United States in my opinion. Off piste skiing options are fewer but can be very good with the right snow conditions. Prices very high but services are excellent. A splurge but worth it.

Great skiing when they actually have snow. Have been known to open runs way too early in the season just to be able to get more people on the mountain. Food and drinks are way too expensive.

Deer valley resort is a very nice ski area! No snowboarding, only skiing. They have tissues for everyone at all ski lifts. The lodges are clean and are pretty fancy. If you have the Ikon pass, you get 7 days here. If you were to go off the ikon pass, it is a little pricy. They food isn't as expensive as you'd think. The runs are nice and wide. If you know where to go, you can find endless powder just for you and your friends

I have skied Jackson Hole, Alta, Mammoth, Aspen, and many more throughout the western US. Deer Valley is at or very near the top. It has terrain for literally every skill level. Want to hike to a higher more challenging peak? They have that. Want to rip wide open groomers? They have that. Trees, moguls, steeps, it is all there. They even have a time trial set up to see how fast you can ski and to add onto this the Elk Chili at the lodge is fantastic. My only critique would be having more options for a cheaper stay in Park City nearby. This isnt too big of a hurdle though because Salt Lake City is a short 45mins away.

Fabulous groomed pistes. Everything works like clockwork - which it should when you're skiing with Gwyneth Paltrow and the Kardashians. Fabulous alpine style restaurants on the slopes. Best loos ever in the Stein Erikcsen Lodge and great for celeb spotting. Some interesting slopes off towards the border with Park City. Otherwise stylish cruising pistes to show off your Armani ski gear. It's on the IKON pass.

Deer Valley is a fantastic ski resort for all skiers but I particularly like it for its advanced terrain. While there is more advanced terrain at nearby Utah resorts, Deer Valleys doesnt get tracked out as quickly, making it a great resort to learn to freeride. Food is fantastic (try the chili!). And customer service is above and beyond. For instance, complimentary shuttles, boot/glove dryers in the lodges, mountain hosts to help with directions, etc.

First time visiting DV this past season. Took the free expert resort tour. Found excellent ski options all over the resort. My favorite area was tree skiing in the X-files!
