Alta is the ski resort I grew up skiing. Lots of fun terrain from beginner to very advanced. As they say, best snow on earth. Alta offers some of the best powder days Ive ever experienced, it also is great when it isnt a pow day, meaning good groomers and moguls if thats what you like. The only thing lacking is a terrain park but really if youre going to Alta, thats not what your looking for.

Alta is by far the best resort in the west. However, it does get crowded and on a powder day you can wait upwards of an hour in the lift line. If you don't know how to ski Alta either follow a local or go down canyon to snowbird. This resort shows why Utah's mantra is "Best snow on Earth"

Had a great time, staff were really friendly and there was loads of friendly people on the mountain (especially the park) to interact with. Power was amazing soo much fun. Tried a few tree runs and for someone who usually stays at the park, The tree runs where a lot of fun. Highly recommend. Only negative is the lift stops a lot but I think thats just because of the beginners on the hill.
