sooo much ice, made the green runs harder than the blue runs, people were getting hurt on the bunny hill from the ice

Shawnee mountain ski area is a small typical easy coast ski resort. I grew up learning to ski at Shawnee and it will always have a special place to me. It is not very big, it's all groomed man made snow and at night it can be very icy. The lodge is old and hasn't been updated in my life time. If your looking for 2-3 hours of night skiing this can be nice place to get a couple of runs in but it won't take much longer then that to ski the whole mountain.

Best to buy tickets early for better pricing. Decent ski area.
