Sunday river is great with a ton of variety- ungroomed, groomed, moguls, etc. but they completely oversell the mountain. Half the time when I come at 9-10am they are already out of parking. They sometimes shuttle people from the golf course to the mountain, but I know if theyre doing that the lifts are nightmares. The lines for lifts are not lines- they are mobs. It looks like a concert some days. And lift attendants do nothing to prevent cutting and maintain some semblance of order. Its a great mountain but I wish they maintained a bit more order. Besides the chaos, they do a great job of blowing snow year round, are always open later in the season than most other northeast mountains, and have a large variety of trails to ski.

Sunday River It is a large mountain, very cheap considering the size, and in comparison to whats closer to me in Pennsylvania. Its a great overall mountain with good beginner to expert terrain.

Great mountain with a ton of terrain, has great cliffs, great off trail, great tree runs- but the crowds can be absolutely insane. Sometimes there isnt even enough parking which I find nearly criminal when you pay for a season pass and have to leave due to no parking I love the five different peaks and the restaurants and bars are great- often live music on weekends. If it werent for the crowds and the icy conditions it would be 5 stars. They do do a good job blowing snow and opening quite early though.

Theres a little something for everyone, great variety of trails and difficulty. Large resort where you can have trails all to yourself, even on the busiest weekend days.

Sunday River excels in snowmaking and a tremendous diversity of terrain across eight peaks. Every level of skier will enjoy this mountain. With the introduction of the Barker 6 for the 23-24 season, Sunday River also now has two high speed lifts with heated seats and a bubble.

Sunday river is incredible. I spent the entire 2021-22 season on the slopes of Sunday River and I didnt have a single bad day there. They have multiple places throughout the mountain to get food or drinks. They have been upgrading their chair lifts each year since 21/22 which I have heard endless good things about. I love this place because of the gondola that you can cram in with some friends and escape the cold on those freezing days. When the entire mountain is fully open, it can feel like you are at 3 different mountains and the trails seem to always lead to a new place! The staff is always super friendly and would completely recommend a trip to Sunday River!

This has been my favorite mountain in the east coast ever since I first went there. The woods skiing is amazing, and the groomed trails are great too. The upper level trails are usually not too crowded especially on the peaks on the right side. Finally, The parks have been very well set with a pretty decent selection of features.

Great resort for the Maine area alongside sugarloaf. As its the east coast it can be variable conditions wise, so youll definitely have some icy trails here and there but thats expected but generally conditions are really good and you can definitely catch a nice powder day if you keep an eye on the weather. the grooming team does a really good job working on the trails and keeping them in top shape. The Terrain parks are a lot of fun and have good beginner to advanced feature's if thats what youre into. Although Lift tickets and hotels can be on the pricier side, its not too bad, usually Id suggest to book ahead for nearby hotels as they can sell out fast or get quite expensive. Some good family friendly food in bethel. Usually all open if its near the holidays or on a weekend. week days can be variable so Id plan ahead. The Sunday river hotel can be pricey at times but is a lot of fun if your bringing the family, has a small ice rink, large gym, sauna, heated pool and hot tub thats under one of the lifts which is really cool at night. The main lodge at the resort is fairly large but fills up quick on the weekends. Nonetheless would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in the New England area, lots of beginner and advanced terrain so everyone can enjoy themselves, my personal favorite is lollapalooza on the Jordan side. Once again great resort and great vibes from everyone there!
