Bogus is a convenient resort for getting a powder fix in Boise. The facilities are nice and staff is friendly.

Bogus Basin is a non profit resort, which means that they put a lot of money back into the resort. This is a great place to learn how to ski, or for something to do while in Boise. The night skiing is also really fun. I will say it lacks in crazy terrain compared to other resorts, but you can find some good cliff drops on the backside. The backside also has a ton of tree skiing if you like that. The Frontside has basic blue runs that are fun for everyone, and most of all an awesome park. Bogus puts a lot of rails up and a couple of small jumps as well. Overall it's a really fun mountain to rip. I suggest going night skiing which is only around $20.

Overall it is a great resort. There is pretty good terrain, and a huge potential for more. A lot of terrain is not rideable due to dense bush growth. Snow quality verys as does any resort. There is a lot of accessibility to side and back country runs. There is a wide range of named runs, pretty spread out from greens to double black. Generally not to busy, but there is a lot of growth in the area and it is becoming more busy.

Love Bogus. A sleeper resort a windy way up from Boise. It has kept its old school charm but boasts everything you might want for all levels. Ski school and racing alliance are great!

It is an amazing resort that everyone loves. It is so friendly and very fun. It is not that busy either! I love this resort and would give it a 6/5 if I could!

The terrain parks are absolute garbage but the passes are very affordable and the mountain is easy to get to. Only 16 miles away from Boise. Cliff terrain is fun but you have to know where to go. Pine creek is my favorite lift and has a lot of skiable terrain on it. Mountain skis exceptionally well with a 50+ inch base. Snowmaking is making a difference in dry years.
