This resort has something for all levels. Family friendly and safe went with my 2 daughters who were more experienced aged 16 and 11 who were able to safely go off and try harder runs on their own. Staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. We hired equipment onsite over 2 days leaving skis onsite for next day in cabin beside main lift. There is a free shuttle bus from the main car park up the long winding road which I would recommend rather than driving it yourself. Keep an eye on return journeys times. The slopes have Fantastic scenery and some truly exciting runs . The lifts were good and did not need to queue long. We brought lunch with us as can get quite expensive they do have hot water if you preferred to bring noodles which I thought was quite handy. Lots of outdoor seating and plenty space indoors. Loved it and would definitely return.

Cardrona is a very small resort compared to those I am most used to in Europe.
It seemed geared towards park riders; the jump options were great.
I was there late in the season so the snow wasn’t the best; I found it quite slushy.
The people are all lovely and the food options were good.

Awesome resort. Drive in- drive out but the nearby Queenstown and Wanaka are both full of bars and nightlife. No trees. World class terrain park. Everyone is very friendly and happy to be there. Overall a great experience, very different from skiing in Europe (in a good way!). Take me back
