I visited St Moritz with Clubmed, so although the resort is expensive, was found very reasonable for me. The town is not a scenic alpine resort but efficient. I visted two years in a row becauase the skiing runs were just delightful.
i would recommend other resorts for value is my one tip.

Went just after Christmas and was pleasantly surprised at how much space there, never had to wait more than 10 minutes at a chairlift. Food was overpriced but about what you’d expect for being up the mountain. Great variety of red and blue runs for intermediate skiers. The paradiso side of the mountain gets sun until the end of the day so is great to finish on once the other side falls into shade.

It was a luxurious ski vacation for us as a couple in the palace hotel. Everything was just perfect from day one. People are so friendly at the resort and food was excellent. It is pricey for most things but the experience was unforgettable.

St. Moritz is truly a 5 star resort for on-piste lovers. The slops are perfectly groomed every morning and they retrain near perfect grooming throughout the entire day. Even near closign time around 4pm, they are still in good shape, which speaks to the dedication the resort puts into it's grooming. There is a reason it's called the "white carpet". The slops are long and wide, which is great for something wanting to train, do drills, or carve. This mean it's also great for families, as there are several areas for beginners or small groups to be together.

The on-mountain dining options are also excellent. Paradiso is perfect for apres or a mid-day break, with stunning views of the region, and good music to boot. White Marmot is an upscale option with Michelin restaurant quality dining, and service that is even better. There are also a few other casual options if that is your flavor.

The town itself has a great dining scene and makes me feel like I'm in New York. There are good options for various price ranges. Likewise for the accommodations; you can splurge at stay at Badrutt's or chose a cheaper option such as an apartment rental. The town is easily accessible from Zurich Hbf, taking a little over 3 hours with only 1 transfer, which is quickly that some other resorts. The route is also very scenic and is even a UNESCO protected site.

I cannot recommend St. Moritz enough, and it's my favorite place I have skied outside of the USA.

Despite being there over a competition weekend, the slopes were reasonably quiet, and there was little queue time on lifts. Not a huge resort, and the town as a whole is obviously expensive. I’m not sure I’d ski there again by choice but it was fine for an opportunistic day whilst in the area.

While the resort is definitely not full of alpine charm, it was pleasent to stay in but not the cheapest, as expected. The skiing how ever was very user friendly, with every ski lift linking well.

Piste quality is world class. Plenty options for all levels. Several good food options available on and near the slopes. Only downside is the pricing for accommodation relative to nearby resorts in Switzerland and Austria.

I have been coming here since I was born, really lovely, but it gets really busy during Christmas time and holidays. Outside those times the slopes are really nice and the snow is good. While there arent many tree and mongoles, the slopes are amazing and there is plenty of off piste for powder and alpine skiing. The views are nice and there are many restaurants. Can be expensive but the quality is always good!

St. Moritz is a stunningly beautiful resort in the Engadin valley. It's high altitude and the proximity to several glaciers guarantees perfect snow on the groomers even in years with less snow. Slopes are perfectly groomed every day and the first ride up to the mountain is at 7:45. The off-piste terrain is easily accessible and visible, however not too challenging on Corviglia (Corvatsch is a different story). The best part about Corviglia is the quietness of the slopes. Even in high season when it does get crowded in St. Moritz, it's incomparable to other popular resorts in Austria, Italy or France for example. Outside of the high season the slopes are empty. No lift lines, no crowds, great skiing and really good food - if you can afford it. As other pros we can mention the amount of sunny days which is more than 322 per year.
Cons: Many lifts are dated and not up to speed, the mountain's accessibility from the village is not easy, especially if you need to access the beginner area in Salastrains. Very few ski-in ski-out accommodations. It's an expensive resort and you don't always get the right value for your money. Food is excellent but can be really expensive.
