Went in a small group and had the best time! Scenery is stunning; snow covered trees, fresh powder, beautiful blue/purple/pink skies. Quite far from the UK to get to but imo worth it. Tons of restaurants on mountain and on the slopes and as Swedens “Best ski resort” it did not disappoint!

It was the second week of the season so not all lifts were open but the resort was good, people friendly & skiing was quiet. For low intermediates the skiing was fine but for my more experienced family at this point it wasn’t challenging enough. The apres with a 13 year old was great & as expected the costs in resort were higher than the Alpes but although in school holidays just the trip cost was manageable.

Visted Are, Sweden for the first time. The resort was baout 45 minutes from thre airport, connecting flight from London. I stuck mainly to the green and blues and the snow was excellent. Over 60cm and upt o 90cm before I left. Very family friendly and very accessbile. Free ski bus was great. Other than sking I also enjoyr a lovely walk on and around the frozen lake.
