Livigno is a resort with plenty of skiing for a week on two sides of the valley. Excellent night life and restayrants, duty free resort, not too crowded if you avoid Karneval week.

I went to Lavigno with my family
I found the skiing conditions excellent for my level of skiing
I did find it rather pricey
But over all well worth every penny

Great friendly resort. If your starting for first time the learning area is great.
Although runs are pretty challenging up the mountains being mostly reds and tough.
Family friendly. Great food reasonable prices.
Would prob recommend a car as the bus system is a bit slow and long winded on a one way system

Very good all-rounder, great variety of pistes. Best in morning hours, afternoon might be quite bumpy, especially in lower regions.
The best is that if there is a longer queue at a lift, you just go somewhere else to avoid the crowd.
Brilliant apres-skis, excellent places to eat out, party places are really reduced.
Free ski bus everywhere, but don’t rely on timetables, it’s Italy: sooner or later a bus will come.

This place is great for families, plenty of shops to explore and take advantage of the tax free pricing.. restaurants and meals are reasonably priced compared to French resorts. ski school instructors are friendly, fluent in English and patient with small children. Our children learned how to ski in Livigno and the patience and kindness of the ski instructors at Galli Fedele ski school( located at doss 18) was fabulous. At the end of the ski week the ski school would organize a ski race and children would be motivated and excited to get their prizes! Everyone went home with a prize.

Lining up for ski lifts is rare even during the Feb peak season. Slopes are fairly quiet and there’s variety of easy and hard runs. In Livigno there are no green slopes as such, but there are plenty of easy to hard runs to explore.

There are often deals over the long winter season, specially around late Feb and March.
One particular deal which runs every year is the Family week . This can be a great saving if you are willing to wait after peak weeks. Most accommodations would offer good deals during family week for ski passes, ski hire, ski lessons and accommodation. which is great value, for such great location.
Livigno is close to border with Switzerland about 1hr from st Moritz which is great as it has the best of everything!!! you can enjoy St moritz snow in Italy prices! Highly recommend

Livigno is a must-visit for any skier/snowboarder, I try to go every year as the snow quality is unlike any other resorts over Christmas and new years. You’re always guaranteed good snow. The people are lovely, it’s a very friendly town with lots of love towards tourists. The eating out options are amazing, always great choices with good veggie options! Ski schools are great, it’s where I learned the most as a child, always found the teachers very supportive, especially during solo lessons (which I would recommend if you can afford it). The best place for ski hire would be Max’s right next to the main ski lift on the Carasello side of the mountain, great service, great staff. The nightlife is also very good, with lots of Apres ski options and fun nightclubs like Mickey’s (with a slide onto the club floor from the entrance!?!). It is just a very reliable, fun and worthwhile town, plus it’s also hosting a section of the Winter Olympics this year!

The resort is well organised with plenty of choice for eating, drinking and resting. Live music is a daily bonus and the rides are very enjoyable and wide, ranging from easy to challenging. There is good choice for food and traditional alcoholic drinks as well as alcohol free beer.

Livigno is a great advanced skiers resort! The mountain was quiet even the week of Christmas and the brand new lifts made getting around the resort easy and fast. As a tax free zone food and drink were super cheap and delicious!
