Really beautiful area. The town and accommodation is a short bus / gondola ride but is very beautiful itself. On the mountain there are lots of different routes to explore, with different bars and eateries etc. The apres ski isn’t as big as other resorts - there is one apres bar in the central area and it was never really busy. I went as a family of 5 and it was perfect. The boys loved the snow park and the different slopes and there was also a perfect smaller slope nearer to the bar for dad and the less able skiers!! Will definitely return and would recommend

Brilliant ski resort, especially for families, plenty of restaurants and shops in the village, great value for money, not much nightlife but some really good slopes for beginners and advanced skiers

Lovely resort, spprox 1.5 hours to Geneva . Good intermediate skiing for 4 days but not enough for a week without visiting nearby resort of say Chamonix or doing the vallee Blanche. Great mountain restaurants but limited apres ski options unless eating out in the town. Good value hotels and efficient lifts. I’d go back!

Our accommodation was in an excellent hotel. We had all the facilities there, from the outside/inside pool to a sauna and steam room. Plus spa/beauty treatments. The food was amazing and the service was top quality. We had our lifts to and from the slopes, although the last pick up was around 4.30/5.00 which was rather early for us. However, one benefit getting back earlier meant we we're able to make use of the spa facilities more. The newly built Skyway is amazing and a must to visit especially as it is included in the price of you sky pass. The town was mostly designer shops so no new outfits were purchased and very little souvenirs bought, which was a plus. I would definitely return to this resort and stay in the same 4/5* Hotel again.

A picturesque resort with some wonderful slopes to explore. We appreciated the equipment hire shops at the top of the gondola so we didn’t have to walk far in ski boots. Went in February half term (UK school holidays) and we were pleasantly surprised that neither the pistes nor the lifts were busy. We’ll be back!

Was hire busy the higher up you went. Not trying to be too dramatic but the food was some of the best I have ever tasted let alone up the mountain. The runs were quite quiet but the snow was good and the people working were very friendly and chill. Not the biggest resort but for a day out you truly can’t beat this

Good vibes for a family ski trip. Fancy restaurant, beautiful cafes and lunch spots. Not as windy as France.

I found the town historic and beautiful, i did feel there was limited places to eat, but the places that were available were lovely. It has a good range of slopes for advanced and more beginners/intermediate, so good to go to with a group or family with mixed abilities. Some very cool on slope cafes and a rock bar. However aprés is limited. We had a great trip.

Beautiful resort with incredible scenery and world-class skiing. The variety of slopes is great for beginners and confident skiers, and the town itself has a fantastic atmosphere with lots of bars and restaurants. The town is full of boutiques and designer shops that will tempt you into ‘just having a look’… which naturally ends in you spending all your holiday budget on a hat you didn’t know you needed. It can get busy and a bit pricey, but overall a fantastic place for a ski holiday.

Courmayeur was great for blasting around and decent slopes. The lift system was good and in late January quiet with no significant waits apart from on the Sunday.
Lots of nice restaurants to eat on and off the slopes, but the overall Apres feel was flat apart from the first night but seemed to be aimed more at high end than the masses (and we are masses).
It was a fun week and has access to greater things if you have the money and the will.
We enjoyed the week but were lucky to have a car to venture to nearby resorts included in our pass otherwise it would not have been enough for us.

A small but scenic resort with a reasonable variety of runs. Through out the week the resort and runs tend to be quiet but it can get very busy at the weekends.
The lift pass is a average price but a 6 day pass includes two days skiing at any other Aosta valley resort. La Thuile is only approximately 30 minutes by bus which is free with the lift pass.
The town is small but beautiful and friendly with a range of high end designer shops.
There are off piste options but these require a guide and good snow conditions. The pistes are well covered by snow making facilities which help to make sure that Christmas skiing is assured.
I have been to Courmayeur 3 times and even though the ski area is small I would happily go again.

This is a quiet resort during the week with many Italian and French residents visiting on the weekend. Ski schools aplenty on the weekend but plenty of piste for everyone. Lovely friendly locals and a happy fun resort. Relaxed dining along with apres-ski slope side and in the village. Super red runs, although not enough black. runs. Loved it, will be back.

Mellow resort - minimal queues, great snow, not a hugely expansive ski area but still good skiing. Great food on mountain. Great value for money compared to French resorts.

Nice resort for beginners and intermediates. Small resort but good slopes and enough to go at for 3-4 days for advanced. Relatively snow sure due to altitude under Mont Blanc. Nice town, quite up-market.
