The resort is pretty and alpine. Views of Mont Blanc stand out. You cover most marked runs within 3 days then repetition starts after that. Snow conditions are great. Slopes are often quiet outside weekends and queue times stay short. Runs suit intermediates and above (it is not a good resort for beginner skiers). Food on the mountain stands out, do recommend stopping for a hot chocolate on the slopes.

Good skiing and even better eating. Choice of restaurants both on and off slope is first class. Only negative is sometimes lengthy queue for the gondola

Small but varied resort. Great for enjoying a delicious meal or cappuccino, after taking a nice ride through the woods.

Great resort. The ski area is quite small but it's got some great runs and you get access to other resorts in the area with your lift pass. More of an intermediate resort.

This place was such a fun adventure in so many ways! Some of the terrain reminded me of Arapahoe Basin in CO, where I kept doing hot laps in untouched powder, similar to the East Wall. Super G was a super fun ski après on the side of the mountain. Amazing experience!

Courmayeur is a great ski resort for those looking to ski for a single day or have a healthy balance of skiing and apres-ski. The mountain is incredibly convenient from the beautiful town at the base, and the food and apres scene on the mountain itself is incredible. There are also excellent views from all sides of the resort. The only drawback is that the resort's size is a bit more limited than nearby resorts, so those on an extended stay should anticipate skiing elsewhere for at least part of the time.

Courmayeur is the secret gem of Italy's skiing. Chocolate-box pretty, easy to get to, incredible Italian food at sensible Alpine prices - there's not much you can't love about this resort. Sure - there isn't a massive ski area, but plenty to occupy you without it getting too repetitive. It's straight on the other side of Mont Blanc tunnel, but the difference in pricing is marked - authentic Italian Spag Bol up the mountain is significantly cheaper and infinitely more delicious than French resorts, and if you want the best ski lunch up the mountain - Chiecco is absolutely the best place to be. Anna, the proprieter, is delightfully bonkers and very liberal with the truffle shavings so be aware when you're paying per gram!!!
For Apres-ski, you'll hear the beats of Super G all over the valley from about 2.30pm onwards - it's the Italian equivalent of Folie Douce and a whole heap of fun. Just don't miss the last gondola down...
The town itself is chi-chi and luxurious, without the pretentiousness that so often comes with it. Most of the accommodation is hotels, so not your place if you prefer chalets. The Grand is the best in town by a country mile. I've been 7 or 8 times already, and not bored of it yet. But ssssssh, don't tell everyone....

A lovely resort - elegant and sophisticated without feeling intimidating. There is a bubble to get yo but once in the top there are a range of runs for skiers of all ability. Don’t miss the opportunity to do the Vallee Blanche with a guide and skiing down to chamonix. Fantastic experience to ski this - felt like being on the moon!

Courmayeur was a surprise treat! As “advanced beginners” our skiing hugely improved on the well groomed pistes. The Italians apparently don’t believe in green slopes so our confidence was boosted by mastering the great selection of pretty tree lined blues. Lots of fantastic restaurants up in the mountains, we loved them all for an Aperol pit stop or a long lunch. Despite being there during UK half term we never queued long for the lifts and the slopes never felt crowded. Excellent selection of restaurants in the picturesque village/town but not so many lively options for a big group. We will definitely be back.

Courmayeur almost always reliable and plenty of runs there and down the Aosta Valley.
Apres Ski and accomodation fine, and plenty available.
Snow was a bit thin and /or slushy on our last trip, but it was later in March.
Ski Club Freshtracks vacation - recommended.

We loved Courmayeur so much we went back two years in a row. Quieter than the big ski resorts but with such beautiful ski runs & resort town & the Monte Blanco Skyway was a great experience!
We were able to ski some days across in La Thuile as well which gave variety & more stunning wide open piste.
Only thing we didn’t enjoy certain days was some of the chair lifts are older so on a snowy/windier day it can feel really cold on the chair lifts but there were good gondola options to work with!

Courmayeur is a really great resort with lovely shops and a very cute town. The food was excellent, Bar Roma in the town was a highlight with its cool interiors and free buffet during apres. There was also a restaurant called Chiecco on the mountain which I would highly recommend they grate truffle all over the food! The skiing was good the only downside is that it’s a relatively small resort, but it’s perfect for a long weekend trip.

Really beautiful area. The town and accommodation is a short bus / gondola ride but is very beautiful itself. On the mountain there are lots of different routes to explore, with different bars and eateries etc. The apres ski isn’t as big as other resorts - there is one apres bar in the central area and it was never really busy. I went as a family of 5 and it was perfect. The boys loved the snow park and the different slopes and there was also a perfect smaller slope nearer to the bar for dad and the less able skiers!! Will definitely return and would recommend

Lovely resort, spprox 1.5 hours to Geneva . Good intermediate skiing for 4 days but not enough for a week without visiting nearby resort of say Chamonix or doing the vallee Blanche. Great mountain restaurants but limited apres ski options unless eating out in the town. Good value hotels and efficient lifts. I’d go back!

Our accommodation was in an excellent hotel. We had all the facilities there, from the outside/inside pool to a sauna and steam room. Plus spa/beauty treatments. The food was amazing and the service was top quality. We had our lifts to and from the slopes, although the last pick up was around 4.30/5.00 which was rather early for us. However, one benefit getting back earlier meant we we're able to make use of the spa facilities more. The newly built Skyway is amazing and a must to visit especially as it is included in the price of you sky pass. The town was mostly designer shops so no new outfits were purchased and very little souvenirs bought, which was a plus. I would definitely return to this resort and stay in the same 4/5* Hotel again.
