Resort is lovely all round, I stayed in the Bormio 2000 hotel which was brilliant as it was about a 50m walk from the slopes and lifts, queue times were relatively short which is great as usually ski lift queues can get quite excessive. Only negatives would be the amount of snowfall on the pistes which was limited at the time, meaning lots of snowblowers had to be used.
Pro tip for future skiers: Stick to the back side of the mountain if you prefer quieter runs, and there's a wonderful slope route that takes you all the way down into the local village of Bormio.

Really nice resort.
Not the biggest, but lovely Italian town with some excellent food, natural hot spas.
Would reccomend.

Bormio is an excellent ski resort, beautiful Italian alps and best of all it hosts most competitive races!
Its well groomed and has a variety of choices, leaning more towards the advanced rather than beginner.
This resort is a great choice

Amazing long ski runs with fast lifts fantastic views at the top of 3000, great heated lockers at 2000 station, chalet la Rocca on the mountain had great food and good tunes and apres! Great resort for intermediate and advanced skiers! The town is pretty and we stayed at a great hotel in the centre.

Very good for beginners, the ski school is helpful and the staff were great. Slopes are well maintained. Nightlife is also great.

Has the Stelvio downhill to aspire to and good selection of wide reds and blues. Good nursery area at 2000m with good progression for aspiring beginners. A wide range of reasonably priced restaurants and a family friendly vibe!

Lifts are busy but filter through quickly so waits arent too long. The lifts do take a while however to reach the end. There are only a few places on the mountain to eat so get very busy. However, the food at these locations are excellent. The runs are very good in the morning, but cut up very quickly with a lot of skiers on the mountain so lots of breaks in the afternoon are required when the snow is very uneven. All the runs were open and there are some very good runs for beginner and intermediate skiers, however nothing too challenging for those more advanced. Some incredible views at 3000ft if the weather is right!

Very small but nice town at the bottom of the mountain. Long peak to creek run which is really fun. Some nice wide runs from bormio 3000 although maybe not best for beginners as exposed to different weather
