Lovely, typically French resort that has had lots of investment recently; from Village escalators to save the slope-wearied legs once you’re back at resort, to the funicular lift system to effortlessly get you up from the lower car park levels.
Lots of great accommodation options; Spa hotels, Chic Hotels, Airbnb, or try the Motorhome Aire? The choice is yours.
The Gondola will get you to the upper slopes, quickly and efficiently taking around 7 minutes from Vaujany to the top station, or take the cable car to the family friendly green and blue slopes. The trip over to Alpe d’Huez or Ossians is doable even for relatively novice skiers.
A real little gem of a resort. May even be my new favourite French resort.

Great satellite resort of ALpe d'Huez with fast efficient lift access. Ski down challenging for some but easy via lifts if necessary. Resort has funding from EdF due to hydroelectric plant so has free parking and great facilities, ice rink, sport centre etc. Highly recommend the 34 star V hotel. Very comfortable , great food.
