Best Runs in Valloire

Valloire's 150km of pistes offer something for everyone, with runs carved through high-altitude bowls and tree-lined valleys that'll keep you coming back for more.

  • Sous la Tête Noire (Green): A long, wide cruiser from the top of the Sétaz lift that's ideal for building confidence at altitude without the stress.

  • Les Verneys (Blue): A mellow, tree-lined run that cuts through the forest back to the village, perfect for warming up your legs or winding down at the end of the day.

  • Combefolle (Blue): A rolling blue that flows nicely down the Crey du Quart sector, giving intermediates plenty of space to work on their carving.

  • Grand Plateau (Blue): This wide-open piste sits high up and offers cracking views across the valley while giving you loads of room to open up your turns.

  • Lacs (Red): A proper red that drops down from the Col des Rochilles with varied terrain and enough gradient to get your thighs burning.

  • Crey du Quart (Red): A steep, direct line that tests your technique with consistent pitch and often holds good snow thanks to its north-facing aspect.

  • Sous le Bois (Red): A twisting, tree-lined descent that demands concentration as you navigate through the pines—brilliant fun when the snow's fresh.

  • Crête (Black): Valloire's signature black run delivers steep, ungroomed terrain with moguls that'll sort the confident skiers from the rest.

  • Lac Blanc (Black): A challenging, high-altitude black that gets seriously steep in sections and rewards strong technical skiers with a proper leg workout.
